I know there are some here that have emailed me about CMA Music Fest and how it all works in trying to decide if they want to come or not. After going to this event for over 10 years I'd thought give you guys a little description of what it is like. This will save me from having to email this a few times. ;) One word can sum it up - CRAZINESS. :frantic: That little dude is how you will feel once the weekend is over with.

In the past the stars of NBC Daytime have attended Fan Fair (I will always call it this). One weekend in June all of the country music fans converge into Music City for a weekend of music and fun. I guess ABC must have decided to let their stars come in and take part in this. The first thing you have to no is you are NOT guaranteed an autograph. Granted I have never been to a FITS but from looking at the schedule it looks like they are going to go by the rules that are at Music Fest. Because of this, the autographs will take place in the convention center where all the other country music booths will be set up. You HAVE to buy a 4 day pass to be able to get into the convention center. I think the cheapest runs $110 but I'm not quite sure.

Anyway, after you get into the exhibt all you have to get a ticket to who you want to see and that will allow you to get your autograph. If you don't have a ticket for an autograph you are out of luck. The security are really strict on this. Now I know the event at the Wildhorse, on Saturday, is free to anyone so that is good. :) I just wanted everyone to be aware of how this works. If you have never been to Nashville during this time you would be in for a shock. It can just get nuts.

Hopefully this will answer the questions you might have. It is a fun time but it can be crazy and if you have never been it can be overwhelming. :blink: I'm looking forward to going but I'm a country music freak so having FITS there is just icing on the cake for me. ^_^

And for Michelle R: The fried pickles are awesome. I broke down and ordered some at Applebee's last night but they are not as good as the Wildhorse. I don't even LIKE dill pickles but I love those. They deep fry dill pickle chips. I always order ranch dressing to go with mine but dang they are good.

:yes: can't wait. Rumor has it Bon Jovi may show up. If they did I'd - :thud: They have a new CD coming out next month and they recorded it in Nashville. :)
