Title: Greg in Boston
Description: October 1st

iluvlucky - August 7, 2005 11:57 PM (GMT)
Greg will be in Boston along with Rick Hearst and Ted King. This came from Debby O'Connor...

Good morning everyone!

Well, it's been a struggle, but we've finally got all of the details set for the Boys in Beantown tour!! To those of you who received a flyer indicating the event would be at the Marriott Cambridge ... that information has now changed . Sorry for that bit of misinformation, but once we added Rick to the line up, that hotel no longer worked for us. Because of a huge citywide conference that is going on, meeting room space, as well as sleeping room space, is scarce, and we could not get the room we needed for an evening event. So, once again, we were in search mode. Finally, and without further speculation, following is the corrected information for our events. We hope you'll be able to join us there!

Make your plans now to be in Boston, Massachusetts for these three great events
on Saturday, October 1, 2005. All of these incredible events will be held at the
Marriott Courtyard Boston Tremont Hotel , 275 Tremont Street, Boston, MA.

We'll kick off the day with Greg Vaughan meeting and greeting you with a morning get together from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Then join us for an afternoon of fun with Ted King from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. It's Ted birthday and we're really going to celebrate!

Finally, finish up this fun filled day with Rick Hearst from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Can you think of a better way to end your day?

Each event is $60, which includes snacks and drinks. We will have a group question and answer session before they go from table to table to meet with everyone individually, chat, take photos and sign autographs.

To purchase tickets to these events, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with your money order made payable to Debby O'Connor to: Debby O'Connor, P.O. Box 16212, Irvine, CA 92623. Be sure to include the name(s) of all of your guests to ensure you are seated together. All tickets are nonrefundable. Write to debby@YourNumberOneFan.com with questions.

We also have a room block with discounted rates at the Marriott Courtyard Boston Tremont for those needing overnight accommodations. If you are interested, call 617-426-1400 and ask for the Ted King, Greg Vaughan and/or Rick Hearst Event room rate.

It's going to a great weekend of fun for everyone, and we hope you'll be able to join us there!

Have a great day!

Debby O

(Remind Greg for us that he has his OWN fans please. Ok, I am still on this kick! lol)

Here is a small recap I found at Soapzone:

Greg and Becky have a cover photo shoot coming up for SOD on Monday.
He met the NuLuLu the other day, he said no one told him there was going to be a new Lulu, so when they were introduced in the wardrobe dept, he said, "Damn! You've grown up!" He met Kim McCullough and she had to fill him in on how Lucky and Robin know each other. He taped a scene with Tony Geary the other day.

iluvlucky - October 1, 2005 07:37 PM (GMT)

I can totally see Greg saying that to NuLulu. lol I hope they have scenes together!

Valerie - October 2, 2005 10:08 PM (GMT)
Just got back from Boston today. Seeing Greg again was great. He's always so energetic, sweet and outgoing.

He did mention someone posting something on the internet after the NY/NJ appearances that was untrue, and he got a phone call about it, and I think it hurt his feelings a lot. That made me feel bad, b/c any of us that have met Greg know that you NEVER want to make this guy feel badly, or that he isn't appreciated. He's too special.

A few recaps, he just filmed a scene with Luke (my own guess is that their relationship will continue to be up up and down one), he had an upcoming scene with Steve and Kelly (he did a hysterical Kelly imitation, with a headflip). He's still completely psyched about his storyline, and the relationship with Liz (again, my impression, no need to worry about 3rd parties right now). He's such a wonderful spokesman for the show b/c he's so excited about whats coming up, he makes you look forward to it. He joked a bit about the Courtney character having been around LOL, and he thinks the relationship between Lucky and Nik is a bit too sensitive and girly (to quote Greg "They're definitely in touch with their feminine sides"). Oh, he also mentioned that the Spencers would all be getting together soon, but he didn't mention in what context (Me: WOOHOOO!!!!). And yes, he and Becky are shooting their first magazine cover together.

He also mentioned going to the Sox/Yankees game with Ted and Ric and having a blast. For those who don't know, Greg and Ted are diehard Yankees fans, and they wore it proudly. In fact, Greg showed up with his Yankees cap and refused to allow his picture to be taken in a Sox cap (though he was very sweet to the woman who asked him).

He looks incredibly fit, gorgeous, tan and perfect. He's an all around good guy.

songbirdie - October 2, 2005 10:49 PM (GMT)
awwww thanks for the recap Valerie! I am so excited about the SOD cover and the coming Spencer scenes. I feel bad about the error from the NY/NJ shows. I would never want to make him feel bad. EVER. I love that he can laugh about the same stuff that makes us roll our eyes while we watch. That is something that makes him so incredibly endearing.

Thanks again Val!

iluvlucky - October 3, 2005 02:12 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the recap Val. Oh man, I hate it Greg felt about the mistake at the NJ/NY shows. Greg is too sweet a guy for anyone to make him feel bad. I agree, he is way too special to us.

Looks like there is good stuff ahead for Lucky. :)

Blondiegrrl - October 3, 2005 02:31 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the recap, Val.

Aw, geez. That's awful about the Internet thing. I sure hope I didn't screw up something in my recaps! That worries me. He's a sweet guy and doesn't deserve flak that comes down from the fans.

Babee(angel #5) - October 4, 2005 02:51 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the recap Val, glad you had a great time!! :D

GirlfromBrazillovesGreg - October 4, 2005 04:52 PM (GMT)
Hey Friends!

Thank you so much for sharing this recap with us Val you are so kind.

And he is soooooooooooo cute!! I am still saving pennies to go meet Greg!!

I totally agree with you Val, we NEVER want to make this guy feel badly. I want Greg to be happy all the time because he deserves this really much, he is so nice, a wonderful guy and someone that does this kind of thing should stop to think about it and realizes that Greg deserves all the best from his fans. He doesn't need lies or troubles because of bad fans.

Hey BG I bet you didn't screw up anything my friend I know you only told us the truth about the events.

But we have to pay attention about what the others fans are doing and if we notice something about him in another board that is not true is our duty to answer and tell the truth, what do you think friends? I will try to help too even though I've never been to the events, but if I find lies I will tell you and we will declare war against the bad fans. I mean it, this kind of thing piss me of

Well sorry for opening my hear this way, but I got upset about Greg having troubles, I can't bear this.

Hugs, :hug2:

Patty
