Hey everyone ~

It is that time of year again when we have to decide what would be good to give to Greg at his FCW event this year. This time it was hard because of the gifts we have given him the last few years have been so great. :) I just remember that Greg always says that he appreicates the gifts that we give him but to do for others means more to him. With that in mind here is what we have decided to do...

After doing some research today, I have found that Caleb is no longer at St. Jude's but at a different hospital in Florida. There were some complications at St. Jude's and you can read this on Caleb's blog....here is the change.

The main part of the gift will be the donation that we make to Caleb and his family for his medical expense. We will say it is from Greg's Angels made in Greg's name. This will mean more to Greg than anything, imo. Currently we have $100 but I know that we will have more by the time July comes. Our goal, as before, is $1200 and I have faith that we can do it. You guys never seem to amaze me with your kindness when it comes to things like this. :angel:

The deadline to have your donations in will be July 1st. This will give me time to get everything done before leaving for LA. You are welcome to paypal me at shelley@ricebelt.net or mail it to me at the address at the end.

There is a 2nd part to this gift which will be something that Greg can take home with him. We want to make it to where everyone can participate if they would like so here is what we want to do. Since Greg's Angels are from all over we thought another collection would be fun - this time it will be a postcard from your state.

The postcards need to be 4x6 or smaller. I know they make them in all different sizes so just make sure they meet that size. If you would like to write a note to Greg please do so on the back of the card and be sure to put your name and your Angel number. Believe me Greg does know who is Angels are - he will ask you what your number is and then will go back to his book we gave him last year and find you. (Just ask Judy about a story in Boston)

I have a book that I will put these in and then give to Greg at his event. I'll do some fun cover page and back page so it won't be just plain. :) The deadline to have your postcards to me will be June 15th. This will give me a month to get them together and put in the book. You can mail them to me at:

Also Greg's FCW event is not like SS. I think we have it also in another thread too and there is discussion there. It is a 3 hour event with Greg and he answers Q&A's and then walks around from table to table to meet everyone.

There is a little change in what we are doing for the gift. Please read the main post and you will see the change. After talking with Debby O today we have changed it.

Terry and I found our postcards on our way back from seeing Cameron in NY. We stopped at the gas station on the Interstate and we found them, very exciting thank goodnes that job is done :woohoo:

I've been kinda looking, just haven't found one that jumps out at me as being perfect, kwim? I'll step up my efforts.

I plan on sending one in--even have it all picked out. Its Soliders Field with of course Bears written down at one of the ends. I was going to go with a Cubs one (and still may switch--havent fully decided yet) I was going to do it after the Vegas event--but now decided to do it after the Chicago event :)

I mailed my post card to Shelley finally. The deadline for the book will be here sooner than we think.

Just an update - I haven't rec'd anything for this from any member yet. I'm going to wait on purchasing the book to see how many I get. If I don't have all that many I will do something different for this.
