Elizabeth: I'm so glad you came back.

Lucky: I'm not staying. I just brought Sam to guard everyone.

Elizabeth: What? No, thanks, I'd rather she didn’t.

Lucky: Spinelli, we need privacy.

Spinelli: The Jackal is the soul of discretion.

Elizabeth: It's okay. Go check on Nadine.

Lucky: There's no forgiving that you lied about Jake, but we need to get through this night however we can.

Elizabeth: That's exactly what I'm trying to do.

Sam: Hmm. Well, this worked out great for you, huh? Now that Jason claimed his son, I'm sure you can't wait till he claims you.

Elizabeth: You know all about agendas, don't you, Sam -- like that day in the park when you rescued me and the boys?

Elizabeth: It is not a good idea to leave her down here with me.

Lucky: Why do you make any of this Sam’s fault?

Sam: Because she doesn't like that I call her on her garbage.

Elizabeth: Oh, don't worry, Lucky will figure out who you really are soon enough.

Sam: No, what Lucky is going to figure out is how it feels to finally be appreciated instead of judged. Maybe it's time for Lucky to be the most important man in someone's life.

Elizabeth: And I hope he gets that someday -- with anyone but you.

Sam: Oh, you know what, Lucky? It is not a good idea that I stay here.

Elizabeth: Finally, we agree on something.

Lucky: Hey, you know what? Sending Sam away does not make this any of her fault.

Nikolas: Jason?

[Thunder]

Nikolas: Did you get Emily to a safe place? Alfred?

[Nikolas gags]

Anthony: This is just too easy.

Nikolas: Oh!

[Nikolas gasps]

Anthony: Not much of a host, are you? Sitting here, tied to this chair with so many guests in the house.

Nikolas: Oh!

Anthony: Next time you throw a party, don't bother to invite me.

Nikolas: Yeah -- who will provide the entertainment?

Anthony: Girlfriend tie you up? I'm basically a prude, but I understand some people like this kind of thing.

Nikolas: Why don't you just let me go, huh?

[Anthony chuckles]

Anthony: Somebody worked very hard to put you there. It would be rude to remove you. You seen your girlfriend lately? No, of course not. You don't have any idea where she is.

Nikolas: What -- what did you do to her?

Anthony: She's stashed away where nobody can find her. I'm saving her for later. We'll see if she likes being tied up, too.

Lucky: Freeze!

Nikolas: I'll kill -- no, no, no, don't -- don't shoot him! He has Emily!

Lucky: You tell me where!

Anthony: Oh, there's a good idea -- I'll tell you where I've got the girl, and that'll give you no reason not to blow my head off.

Sam: Nikolas, he could be lying.

Anthony: [Falsetto voice] Yes, he could. [Normal voice] Then again, he could be too crazy to make things up. [Falsetto voice] But if he's too crazy, it's all made up! [Normal voice] Not made up, made up. [Falsetto voice] Not made up, made up. [Normal voice] I hope that was helpful.

Nikolas: He -- he told me before you came in.

Sam: Come on, he's messing with your head.

Anthony: No. This would be messing with his head.

Sam: Lucky, stop! Come on, he's gone!

Lucky: Maybe not!

Sam: Why did he tie you up?

Nikolas: Just like you said -- he's crazy.

Lucky: You okay?

Nikolas: I won't be okay until Emily's safe.

Sam: Come on.

Emily: It feels so wrong to be hiding here when I should be with Nikolas.

[Emily sighs]

Elizabeth: Do you want a distraction?

Emily: My fiancé is in the main house, tied to a chair, Elizabeth. How are you going to distract me from that? Oh.

Elizabeth: Jason told Lucky that he's Jake’s father.

Emily: That's unexpected.

Elizabeth: You're not surprised?

Emily: Elizabeth, I knew Jake was Jason's son. And it's obvious you didn't want anyone else to know.

Elizabeth: Emily, I'm so sorry I didn't tell you. I just hated the idea of putting anyone in the middle or having to pick sides, you know?

Emily: No, listen, you can only do the best you can do. So what about Lucky? I mean, what did he say when -- when Jason told him?

Elizabeth: He was devastated.

Emily: Yeah?

Elizabeth: All he can see is that I betrayed him -- yet again for Jason. I don't think he'll be forgiving me anytime soon.

Emily: I'm so sorry.

Elizabeth: I lied to Lucky, and my reasons don't really matter to him and maybe they never will, and I can accept that. But the one I really blame is Sam. She's known about Jake since the night he was born, and she kept dangling the truth as a threat, and I'm sure she's in his ear right now just manipulating him.

Emily: Look, it's not good that Lucky's turning to Sam, but it's his choice.

Elizabeth: I know things about Sam that would make Lucky drop her in a heartbeat. Do you know that she actually stood by and watched Jake get kidnapped and did nothing to stop it?

Emily: What?

Elizabeth: And those two men that -- that threatened me and the boys in the park -- Sam hired them.

Emily: Why would she do that?

Elizabeth: So I'd be too scared to let Jason go near his son.

Emily: Wow. What has happened to Sam? She wasn't like this before.

Elizabeth: Well, she lost the man she loved -- and he had a child with me.

Sam: Hey, I know you're upset, and I don't blame you, but you got to stay focused, okay?

Lucky: Listen, I've got it handled, okay?

Sam: No -- apparently not. I saw you fire at Zacchara, you left yourself wide open -- you're a cop, you should know better than that.

Lucky: You know what? I am a cop. Until you've been in my shoes, you have no position to criticize.

Sam: Wait, I am not criticizing you, I'm just telling you that I am scared for you. You didn't even try to protect yourself. Zacchara could've killed you.

Lucky: Yes, but he didn't, okay?

Sam: Look, I just -- I don't want anything bad to happen to you, okay?

Lucky: Let's just figure out where the hell we are. Nikolas? Nikolas? Nikolas?

Sam: He's gone.

Lucky: Well, I was hoping that Nikolas and Emily would make it back here together.

Sam: Yeah, Lucky, what -- what if it wasn't Anthony Zacchara who tied up your brother? What if he was restrained for his own good?

Lucky: Why would you even think that?

Sam: I -- I know, I just have a really bad feeling about this. I don't think he lost us in the corridor, I think he ditched us on purpose.
