General Hospital Transcript Friday 11/30/07

Lulu: Hey, Lucky. If you're looking for Dad, he's been downstairs having tests all morning.

Lucky: Oh, great -- my timing sucks!

Lulu: You seem thrashed.

Lucky: No, the stupid parking attendant downstairs -- he nicked my car door.

Lulu: Okay --

Lucky: I just wanted to punch him!

Lulu: All right, I'm sure this really isn't about your car door, so maybe it's a good thing that Dad's not available.

Lucky: So, what, you want me to leave so I don't cause Dad another heart attack?

Lulu: Look, I -- Lucky, I cannot imagine how hard this must be for you losing Emily. She was -- she was your best friend.

Lucky: No, I've lost more than you know.

Lulu: Lucky, if there is anything I know about us Spencers, it's that we don't handle loss well. We become angry and self-destructive.

Lucky: Lulu, you have no idea what I'm dealing with.

Lulu: Well, I lost mom, too, and I lost a baby. And, yes, it was my choice, but I still deal with it every single day, so I do know a little bit about loss.

Lucky: And you handled it well.

Lulu: Lucky, look at me. Did you start drinking or using drugs?

Lucky: I wanted to.

Lulu: But you didn’t. And you know why that is? Because maybe you know that -- that despite all the bad things that happened, there is some good somewhere.

Lucky: Well, it hasn't been so easy to find.

Lulu: But it's there. You know it is.

Lucky: Hmm -- maybe for you. Today at work, I had to see Emily's murder file.

[Lucky sighs]

Lulu: I'm sorry. Are they charging Anthony Zacchara?

Lucky: Yeah. We have a bunch of suspects including his son.

Lulu: Johnny didn't kill Emily. Johnny is as much a victim of his father as anybody else.

Lucky: Lulu, please don't turn this guy into some tragic hero and pretend he's not a killer.

[Knock on door]

Elizabeth: Hi.

Jason: Hi. I saw you come in. I was just -- I was waiting for you.

Elizabeth: Well, Jake’s not here. He's with Lesley, visiting Spencer.

Jason: Whew -- um -- I just -- I just think we need to figure out what happens next.

Elizabeth: Yeah. Well, you know, the only comfort I've had since Emily died was coming home last night and finding you here. Being with you and tucking the boys in together kind of broke through the sadness, but I haven't a clue as to what happens next.

[Knock on door]

Elizabeth: Lucky?

Lucky: We need to talk about Jake.

Lucky: I know that we've been distracted by Emily's death, and we haven't had time to deal with Jake.

Elizabeth: Lucky, I don't want to fight about it, not now, please.

Lucky: I hate what you did. I hate that you lied, but I love those two boys. It hasn't changed how I feel about Jake.

Elizabeth: Okay, then let's figure out what we do agree on.

Lucky: And no child is safe around Jason. I want to continue to be Jake’s father.

Robin: In a year, you would be willing to consider fatherhood?

Elizabeth: I can't tell you that I don't love Jason.

Lucky: The only thing I want to know is that you want to do the right thing for Jake.
