=====
Lucky: I told Elizabeth that I wanted to continue as Jake's father.
Sam: And she actually agreed?
Lucky: She knows it's best. Jake and Cameron -- they'll always be my children.
=====
Sam: I am so glad that you still want to be the boys' father.
Lucky: I know Elizabeth -- she's done a lot of things wrong, but she's still a decent mother.
Sam: I know, I know, Lucky. It's -- I just hope that -- I probably shouldn't mention this.
Lucky: What?
Sam: "What?" Lucky, Elizabeth is still in love with Jason, and -- and I just -- I don't see her being committed. I see her being torn about keeping Jake away from his biological father, and she's never going to be 100% committed to you raising those boys.
Lucky: Sam, I am committed, and that is all that matters.
Sam: Really? Then how's it going to work? You're just going to show up at her house like some, what, visiting uncle or something?
Lucky: No, I'm not going to be showing up at Elizabeth's house for a few hours here and there.
Sam: Okay, then how do you see it working?
Lucky: I'll set up a schedule. I want those boys a part of my life -- my new life without Elizabeth.
=====
Lucky: I figure Elizabeth and I will have a normal custody arrangement. And when I have the boys, I'll take them back to my house.
Sam: Where the four of you lived as a family?
Lucky: Well, you know what? Jake is too young to know the difference, and Cameron -- he's a happy, easygoing kid.
Sam: I know, I know, but still. I think it would be really weird for them to all be back in the family house where they shared with their mother.
Lucky: They'll adapt, as long as they know that they're safe and loved.
Sam: Okay, you're right, you're right. You know what, Lucky? You are a great dad, and I'm sure, I'm positive the kids are going to be fine.
Lucky: Yeah, you'll get to see for yourself. I was hoping you'd be around to help.
Sam: Oh, no. I mean, I -- I couldn’t. I -- I couldn’t.
Lucky: Sam --
Sam: No, I wouldn't want to confuse them any more, no.
Lucky: You are great with kids.
Sam: Thank you. I mean, I'd -- I'd like to think I would be great. I mean, I was almost a mother once, but no. I -- I couldn't bear the thought of them having to see another woman in their family home
Lucky: Well, then -- I was just hoping you'd want to spend time with them.
Sam: I would. I mean, of course I would, but not there. I don't know -- maybe somewhere else, like the park or Kelly’s or --
Lucky: Or here.
Sam: Here?
Lucky: Your apartment.
Sam: Okay. I mean, why not? I -- I guess that would be okay. There's absolutely no association to them here, and I think that Cam would really like it here -- there's a hot tub --
Lucky: Mm-hmm.
Sam: I mean, not that we would ever leave him without any supervision or put the water too hot or --
Lucky: Spoken like a mom.
Sam: I really don't want to overstep. But I -- I really do see it being fun.
Lucky: I think it's a good idea. Thank you.
=====
[Knock on door]
Spinelli: Yeah -- um -- the Jackal's headed to Kelly’s for some sustenance. I'll leave you to your visitor. Detective Spencer.
Lucky: I need to speak to you -- alone.
Spinelli: Impeccable timing.
Jason: What do you want?
Lucky: I agreed to continue to be Jake's father, only on one condition -- stay away from Elizabeth and Jake.
=====
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Scott: Hey, I want to talk to you about your future.
Leyla: Come join me.
Robin: Oh, my God.
Lainey: Leyla --
Lucky: I want you to tell me you're going to stay away from Jake -- for good.
