Hey all! I decided to go ahead and start a new thread for updates from Shell, Birdie, BG and anybody else in Chicago. Shell and Birdie are on the road and are obviously happy to be heading to see Greg! :) I will be letting ya'll know once I hear anything from them as I am sure Ambur will too!

Yep, yep....sure will!!! I got a "Hiya" text from Birdie this afternoon, so they are on their way to lot's of fun! Will keep you posted if I hear anything else, just as Maya has said! Man, I can't wait to hear the stories! :lol:

Birdie and Shell are at the Holiday Inn Express now and about to go out to get some food. I have been in touch with Birdie all day (thank goodness for free mobile to mobile with Cingular! ROFL). I even gave them a commentary version of today's GH! Hehehe...

Birdie and Shell called me like 45 minutes ago, and naturally I was on the phone (Im a talker) and didnt call back, cuz I didn't know if it was too late to call, since they have been traveling and what not...

Jenna...It's totally not too late to call! :) :)

Shell, Chris & Shell's friend Kristie from Michigan are at the hotel looking at pictures and relaxing. Sounds like they are have a blast!!! BG is on her way so safe travels to her!! Have I mentioned how NOT jealous I am right now? LOL

I called and well yeah I met her last year at Tyler's event here (but yeah having a blonde moment, I dont remember who exactly I was talking to, but they are calling me tomorrow on the way to St. Charles) :lol:

I called Chris a few minutes ago. They (Chris, Shell, BG & Kristie) are at the 1st event. They are just hanging out in their seats excitedly awaiting Greg. The first show is at 1 and it's about 12:24 right now in Chicago. Just wanted to give ya'll a heads up!

I asked them if they had any questions they were going to ask Greg and I mentioned one in particular: "Will you come home with me?" Hehehe...Did not figure it would to at least ask! ;)

Trying to get some homework done before the event and get ready all at the same time.

45 minutes into the first event today, hope everyone there is having fun.

I bet it's going to be a great time!

I called Chris and then she held out the phone so I could hear. Greg's voice was not coming in too clear so I had a bit of a hard time understanding everything he was saying. I did hear him talk about the motorcycle trip on the West coast he will be taking with Tyler, Derk (Tyler's cousin-Max on GH), and some others. Greg got a motorcycle about 2 months ago. Umm...He also said that he and Tyler are competitive with each other and that Tyler is really competitive. I also got a text message from Chris saying that Tyler got a new tattoo and I freaked out when I heard that...LOL.

Everybody sounds like they are having a great time. I could hear all laughing and Greg sounded like he was really enjoying himself. That's it for now! I shall return later!

Oh...Greg was also talking about working out as well. I believe his trainer is Derk's younger brother Drew.

I admit it...I love Greg's laugh! :)

Some bits from the events today:

*During the 2nd event, Greg looked at Chris and said something like "you made the drive!" and he also said that he could not really see them too well at the first one.

*Greg knows about the site, has visited it, and loves it!

*The banner that Shell and Chris made for him will be put on his dressing room door!

*He loved the Gregs Angels bracelets and put one on! He says that he will wear it!

*All the messages were delivered to him.

*He was blown away by the site information and stats.

*He talked about Steve Burton and that fans would not have to worry about him leaving the show! (Makes me happy to hear this! B) )

-I don't want to keep going on cause I know the girls will want to tell ya'll the recaps themselves. They had a wonderful day!! Pics will be posted by them as early as either tomorrow night (depends on how tired Shell is) or Monday!

Glad the girls had a blast even though they played a little joke on me on the phone when they called after they were back at the hotel LOL ! :) ;)

oooh those hugs are incredible! :thud: ...I already want another one. Um Greg was in very good spirits, was working late last night and didnt get here til early this morning. Not really sure what to say, cuz I dont want to spoil nonspoiler people...Met Chris, Shell and Andrea and I feel really bad cuz I cant remember her name right now (I believe its Christi) (it was great to meet ya'll)...Loading pictures right now. Its super dark in there. and well trying to get rid of that pesky red eye.

He said there will not be any repeats of the chicken dance this year and since its Tylers b-day that friday and Scott turns 21 a couple days before.

Lots of talk of the new motorcyle and the motorcyle trip. The mother/daughter that were sitting next to us were really nice and looking fwd to SSW.

Him and Tyler are extremley competitive and awhere he had to hit Nikolas a while back, yeah, he actually did hit him (by accident, lol)

Tyler said he needed a dog, cuz Tyler has a dog, Greg says he doesnt want a dog right now, cuz they are like kids

Would work with kids all day long, said that Ashby (I think thats how ya say his name Cameron, is a very good baby), and says Ella is a little doll, and Ethan is a charactor, and says gets his personality from his dad

And about the dogs, I remember that Greg had dogs, do you know what happened? I remember when Daisy passed away, was so sad.
He is right, they are like kids I know I have dogs at home :P but they are also lovely :wub:

Just finished talking with Birdie and Shell and they are on the road heading home! They had a wonderful weekend! The show was great and they were able to get some good Greg time and hugs it sounds like, hehe! Maya covered a good bulk of the recap, but they are anxious to get home and share their weekend with us all! They took lots of pictures and as soon as Shell gets home and settled she plans on uploading them for our viewing pleasure, hehe. Greg thinks the site looks great, so yes, he has visited, eeeeeeeee!!! I am so dang excited for SSW weekend now that I can't even stand it! Sounds like the trip was worth every second!! Safe travels home girls and we will be waiting patiently for your lovely recaps!!! Glad you had a great time! ;)

Ok, I just got off the phone with Birdie and Shell ....seems in all the excitement, they forgot to call me earlier :lol: No big deal! They are still on the road on the way home -- tired, but still excited! And are still planning on putting pictures up later tonight....so exciting...I can't wait to see the pictures! :D

Hey Guys!!

Andrea called me last night but I ended up having a migraine afterwards so I couldn't log or go out to my aunt's dinner - ended up falling asleep on Tylenol PM. I have a ctscan on Tues to see what's causings all these headaches and migraine's. I can blame the horrible writing on GH can't I? :lol:

Anyways - she had to go outside of the restaurant to hear me clearly and once she did she was giving me the updates of the events.

Not to much people in the first event and a good size crowd for the second.

We're gonna have a 4 day spread of the wedding and an actual honeymoon! He said it seemed like it'll be around November sweeps with the train wreck when Robin comes back.

Side Note: Am I the only one that isn't happy about her coming back home?

We'll get to see a love scene - including a nice view of his tattoo. :thud: :clap:

Speaking of tattoo's - Greg said that Tyler got a new one and we'll see it in a few weeks.

The wedding was spectacular (sp?) and we'll be more than happy with it!

Also loved the Bracelets and he always checks the boards and knows the group names. :wub: Guess I better watch what I say from now on! :D

Don't forget to mail me mine Chris - I'd be glad to pay for them!

The kids that play Cameron are so cute and call him "Dada" I think it was. Couldn't really hear Andrea at that time.....

Speaking of contracts, Rick just signed a 4 year one, and then went out and bought a car, he said his contract is up like in a year and a half or something like that.

He said the room looked like a barn (which it kinda does)

:wavey: everyone! Yes B and I are home for a WONDERFUL weekend in Chicago. The 10+ hour drive was so worth it but man are we both beat. :blink: We know you guys want recaps and pics and such but our brains are so tired that we can't function at the moment. I just got off with B and she was on her way to get her dog and then she would be home. Our pictures turned out great and Greg was just so sweet and adorable as ever.

I promise I will have some pics up by tomorrow night. I was hoping to have some up tonite but I don't have them ready just yet. I also need to get my thoughts together to post a recap.

Thanks to Mai and Amby who kept you guys informed on what was happening and to Iwa. This was one of the best weekends my life.. it was so special to see Greg and to have spent it with B, BG and Kristie.. Love you guys..

Hi guys! I am home! FINALLY! Sheesh! What I have done in the name of GREG! lol Anyway! I will pop back over tomorrow and give you some info -- well -- what hasn't already been said anyway. It was a terrific weekend and I was THRILLED to have a chance to meet some new people, visit with some of my "Soap friends" and see Greg all in one shot. What a GREAT time.

To the "lurkers" that we met this weekend, I hope you decide to join the party soon. (Yes, Alicia, that means you! lol :wink:)

Thanks for posting some stuff for me, Iwa. I hope you feel better soon. I'll leave the bulk of the recapping to Chris as she's the one with the tape recorder, but I can answer a couple of quick questions.

Greg's contract -- yes, it's up in a year, but Greg said that as long as they want to write for him, he wants to stay. He's very happy at GH and loves the cast. He says they all get along really well.

The little boy that plays Cameron -- Ashwyn, I think? Not sure of the spelling. But yes, he calls Greg "Da-da" and he likes to play catch. Greg said he's a very happy baby and never cries.

I'm beat. I'm gonna hit the hay, but I'll post more later.

Oh, and Patty ... I have a little something for you that I'll drop in the mail this week. :wink:
