General Hospital Transcript Thursday 12/13/07

=====

[Knock on door]

Sam: Yay, it is you! I missed you last night. I thought you were coming back after the hospital.

Lucky: Well, I had to go to work.

Sam: Well, how's your dad?

Lucky: It was touch and go there for a while, but he pulled through.

Sam: Ok, look, I know that your dad is sick, and it must be really bad seeing him like that, but he will be back to his old self in no time.

Lucky: It's not my dad that I'm worried about. Zacchara -- he made a move against Sonny and Jason last night. If they retaliate, you could be caught in the middle.

=====

Sam: How could Zacchara have hijacked Sonny and Jason's shipment last night? I thought he was locked up in some facility for the criminally insane.

Lucky: Anthony didn't give the order. His son did. Apparently, Johnny -- he's taken over the family business.

Sam: Okay, and if Johnny is anything like his father, I'm sure he's going to want to go after all the people in Jason and Sonny's life just to get what he wants.

Lucky: Sam, I know you and Jason ended things months ago, but Johnny -- he could still use you against him. Maybe you should think about hiring another bodyguard.

Sam: No, I'll be fine.

Lucky: No, I would feel better knowing that you had somebody with you all the time.

Sam: Okay, well, then why don't you move in here with me?

=====

Sam: If you move in, I mean, you wouldn't have to wonder whether or not I was safe or not. I mean, we could actually be together all the time instead of just a couple of hours a week, and I'm sure it gets pretty lonely in that big house all by yourself.

Lucky: Why do you think I work the graveyard shift? You know, without Cameron and Jake there, it's just -- it's not the same. It's just too quiet, I --

Sam: Okay.

[Lucky sighs]

Sam: Okay, then move in with me and we can be together all the time.

Lucky: Sam, as tempting as that sounds --

Sam: I -- look, I'm -- sorry. I'm sorry if I'm pushing you into something that you don't want to do. Tell me, I -- I will back off.

Lucky: I don't feel -- I don't feel you're pressuring me into anything.

Sam: Do you think I'm working you?

Lucky: No -- I just know how you feel about Elizabeth and that maybe you still want to get back at her.

Sam: No. Come on, Lucky, this has nothing to do with Elizabeth. Okay, fine -- it has, like, 99% nothing to do with Elizabeth. It may have started out as a way to get back at Elizabeth and Jason, but this has turned into a lot more -- I mean, at least for me it has.

Lucky: Me, too. I care about you, Sam --

Sam: Yeah.

Lucky: More than I thought I ever would.

Sam: Right, just not enough to move in.

Lucky: Sam, it's not --

Sam: No, it's fine. I get it. We've had a lot of fun, but that's about it.

Lucky: No. It's not that at all. I just lost my two boys. And I nearly lost my dad. Sam, I care out you more than I ever thought I would, and I appreciate things that I still have. And I don't want to do anything to mess that up.

Sam: Well, you couldn’t.

[Phone rings]

[Lucky sighs]

Sam: Of course. What is it? Is it the hospital?

[Lucky sighs]

Lucky: No, I have to go pick up a suspect.

=====

[Knock on door]

Man: Detective Spencer’s here.

Johnny: Let him in.

Trevor: What can we do for you, Detective?

Lucky: There was a shooting on the docks last night. You're wanted downtown for questioning.

Trevor: Go ahead, I'll meet you there.

Johnny: Don’t. I can do this more efficiently without your counsel.

=====

Lucky: Now, this is convenient. The two men who would know what went down last night at the docks are both here in the same room. Who wants to go first -- Jason? Yeah, I didn't think so. Let's go.

Det. Harper: Take him in there. I'm done with Morgan.

Lucky: You know, that was some look that Morgan gave you. I'm guessing that he knows you were the guy who jumped his shipment. I hope you're ready for the fallout because you just started a mob war.

=====

Det. Harper: Three men were gunned down last night outside the Corinthos-Morgan warehouse. Two were pronounced dead on the scene, the third died in surgery. According to several eyewitnesses, they were ambushed while waiting for a shipment. You want to tell me where you were around 9:00?

Lucky: Of course not. Old Johnny boy here -- he took a page out of Jason Morgan’s book. The difference is you gave up your right to have an attorney present. That means we can keep you here as long as we want.

Det. Harper: Or until he answers the question -- where were you last night around 9:00?

Johnny: General Hospital.

Det. Harper: What were you doing there?

Lucky: You went to see Lulu, didn't you? Didn't you?

Det. Harper: Officer Spencer!

Lucky: You know what -- I don't care who you are! You stay the hell away from my family! I'm not telling you again.

=====

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Coop: Where are we supposed to meet?

Maxie: The last place anyone will think of looking for us.

Spinelli: I'm trying to find some proof that Cooper Barrett is the text-message killer.

Sonny: Go ahead and say what you got to say.
