:wavey: everyone! Well since Iwa's and Patty's idea was a big hit we thought we would start a new thread on this. With this form hidden we can know that when Greg looks around he won't see his surprise.. ;)

The theme of "Lucky & Liz" is good along with putting other things in for Greg and Becky. Why don't we throw ideas out and see what we can come up with along with who wants to join in? Once we see how many then we can figure out where to go from there.

Ok, Iwa and Patty ~ I'll need your help with this since it was a joint thought by you guys. I'll be glad to have everyone send me their part via paypal once we get that far. :) Also, the gifts could be sent to me and then I can put them in a big basket or something and send off to Greg and Becky, if this is ok with everyone. If we need to change up something that works too.

I know we will all have alot of ideas and I can't wait to see what the final gift will be. This is going to be a fun thing to do. Greg and Becky will have a Christmas surprise from all of us. :) I think we need to shoot for a December 3rd deadline this will give me the time to do that and get it in the mail. :)

This could also be a sports fantasy (for Greg) and all girly stuff fantasy (for Becky)....I've seen websites where you can get personalized golf balls and found a site that does footballs *but thats WAY too expensive, we are talking over like $100*

If a person has a particular gift they would like to send they are more than welcome to send it to me and I would be glad to put it in the basket. This would be up to the person themselves but don't feel like you have to do that in addition to contributing to the gift. This is a gift from all of us here at GVB and both Greg and Becky will be touched. :wub: Can you just see their faces when they get this big box at the studio? :D

I kept thinking about this more and more after I signed off last night. Depending on how many people are involved we could find something special for both Greg and Becky or we can do a bunch of small things also. I don't mind at all looking for gifts. I like to shop..heehee What do you guys think we should do? We can always throw out ideas and then maybe pick out what we will be able to afford to do. Maybe after all the money has been donated, we can take half and split it between the two charities in their honor. (like if $200 is donated, we use 100 on charity 50/50, and then rest on their gifts/shipping)

I think I get 10% or 15% off shipping here locally at my UPS store with my card so I would be glad to be the one everyone sends donations and gifts too. If this is ok with everyone here? Here is what I suggest.... so everyone is not out too much money we decided on the items we as a group would like to purchase together. Everyone can send their part to me via paypal and we can go from there. I'm sure the gifts could be purchased online or I have a Target and Wal-mart where I live. If there would be something one of us sees that is just a must have then we would go from there. Those of you that have things you would like to send personally you could send those to me to be included. This way we all wouldn't be out too much money. Does this sound ok?

I have an idea about Greg's gift, but because I don't live there I am not sure if it is a good idea, but I will tell you anyway. In the recap about Chicago I read that now Greg has a motorcycle, right? and probably he is excited about this because it is something new, so, what about giving him something related to motorcycles? It could be a leather jacket with Greg's Angels emblem, or something like that, what do you think?

Yes great idea Jenna, it is important if we could see the stuffs and how the gift looks like.

And another idea could be if each one that is in this gift project create a personal Christmas card to Greg and Becky, then we could send it to Shell, and she could put it together in a book or something like that to send them, so we could say what we want to say and the art could come from each one, so Shell will not have to create everything.

Nice thought Patty but I think that might be a little much...lol The Christmas card idea sounds great.

I think we need to focus on the small things for both Greg and Becky. I know we will have alot of good things for them and they will love whatever we send them. I really like the idea of the donation to their charities is a good idea - that would mean alot to them that we took the time to help others. Don't worry we will still send a gift to them, we just need to do some thinking about what would be best to do.

Since the wedding was the start of this we need to stick with the "Cinderella" theme. Karen suggested a "Winter Wonderland ~ Cinderella ~ Fairytale ~ Dream" theme.

LOL I already have my :cowboy: and Bubba Tys Christmas wraped and ready to send them with Derk , and Drews gifts along with some others too. I have Greg a leather horse , Native American Rattle that goes with the peace pip he has and 2 small native pots and some other things. I am makeing Christmas Ornaments for Becky and Natalia . I also sent Becky a cook book with 500 cookie resipies in it , so she can bake away now. :woohoo:
