Decided to edit a topic I had started when at the beginning so it would be for everyone. :) If you have met Greg before please share your experience. I know we would all like to know. Here is my story.

When I first met Greg last November at SSW, I couldn't believe how sweet he was. He made you feel special and took the time to visit with you about stuff. I mentioned to him that he was the reason I had come to SSW - to meet him. That went over really good - got a hug - and was ready for more after that. :lol: We visted for a few minutes and then we took our picture and I had to leave. After that I knew that I was ready to see Greg again and I was going to do whatever for him on GH. :)

Because of SSW, I was able to meet Chris (Birdie) and Maya(LuVnTyler4EvEr). B and I found out we live w/in 4 hours of each other and I pretty much can live without her and without talking with her. Of course having Greg in common doesn't hurt. ;)

When we found out that Greg was coming to Dallas, it was a given that we were going to drive 9+ hours to see him. I have to say that it was one of the best weekends I have ever had. To see Greg and go with B was the best. Debby O put the event together and it was AWESOME! There were about 70 people there so it was in a small room. We had a table RIGHT by where Greg would be. After Greg answered questions he started going around to each table. I had made Greg and Danielle a cross-stich picture and I was kinda nervous as to how his reaction would be. (before the event I had shown it to Debby and she said that Greg would just LOVE it) When he finally came to our table I gave him the gift and told him I got the idea from watching his "One Day With". He opened it up and just looked at it and then looked at me with his LOOK....I melted.. :wub: All of the time that was put into the gift - the moment -- I will never forget.

Greg took time to spend with everyone there and as long as Greg was there, we were there. Before he left he went around the room and gave ALL of us a hug and thanked us for coming. Believe me Greg's HUGS are something you won't forget. They are the BEST! I have to say that Greg is one of the most caring, sweetest, most gracious person that I have ever met. After meeting him in Dallas, I went way feeling like I had left a good friend. :)

I loved the look on Greg's face when he opened that cross stitch. It was priceless! What a great guy he is!

Thought I would give this thread a bump. I know some of us have met Greg over the past few weeks and if you haven't posted about it would love to hear it here. If you have met Greg someother time write your experience here.

First time "seeing" Greg was July 2003 in Toronto Canada when he was at Wonderland with Chad Brannon. I "met" Greg for the first time in August 2003 at GHFCW. I've gone to see him a few times since then, NYC in May 2005, and two more GHFCW's - 2004 and 2005. It's really hard to keep track of how many times, between GHFCW 2003, 2004, and 2005 - I lost count. LOL! I guess it's safe to say I've seen Greg about 10 times.

Oh .... I guess a set tour counts, huh? Yeah so make that 11. LOL

:woohoo: I got to meet my :cowboy: last summer in Nashville . It was really great to meet him . He was the best , with his fans even the ones of us wearing Tyler buttons :D . He remember the Christmas ornament I had sent to him and I told him I and sent him another one the day before. I got my picture made with him 2 times that day . I got to talk to him some that day by are selfs some too . Hee he . I really love my :cowboy: like my little brother . I don't have any real brothers only 3 sisters , any one need one I give you all three . No realy you can have them . I guess thats about it on that . Then I got to see him again at GHFCL in July . :woohoo: He really seem glade to see me . He thank me for some gifts I had sent him the month before , and told me he and Bubba Ty thought it was Christmas when they got the boxes . I also gave him a peace pipe and he ask me if he could smoke it . LOL I told him no . And I also told him , he better not be smokeing anything else either . LOL I got To see him again that same night at Beckys event too. I also got not one but Three bearhugs too that day . I can't wait to see him again . I have had the pleasure to see Greg, or is it the other way around? :lol: Anyways yeah first time was at last years Chicago Fun in the Sun Tour. I asked him about Lucky singing, he said that there is a lot of things Lucky doesnt do anymore. then I asked if we were going to get anymore brother sister type scenes between Lucky and Georgie. he looked at me and goes Georgie isnt my sister. i go yeah I know that, I meant like their relationship is the whole brother/sister thing. He was confused. But later when it was less noisy, we talked about it again and he got and understood what I was talking about. Eariler that day I heard Greg say no to some girl who wanted to kiss his cheek. I tried to kiss his cheek, and well he noticed I was kissing his cheek and bent down. The girls faces in the background, are well priceless. But it looks like im kissing Gregs chin bone, but thats ok, I get to say I kissed Greg Vaughan. I was part of the question time. It was me and another girl with Mfundo and Greg. Our question was about Courtney and Jason. The other girl LOVED them. I didnt know if it was my turn to speak, but Im so anti them, I had to speak. So I said they were like vomit. Greg and Mfundo were like almost falling over from laughing and Greg goes Jenna tell us how you really feel. So I did. :lol: Greg and Mfundo were laughing the whole time. They didnt air what I said, in the commericals, but they did air me and Mfundo laughing. Then I really wanted a picture of Greg and Jacob together. Greg had to do the stage thing, but told me to wait right there and he would let me take the picture. Like 20 minutes later. He remembered. He remembered, and got Jacob and let me take the picture. This is what I always tell people about Greg. I even wrote Frons and told him about this generiousity of Greg. Then he came over by me and put his arms around me again. i had one picture left and I go one picture left, we might as well. He goes we might as well (boo cuz that one didnt turn out, thankfully the other 2 pictures of me and Greg did)....

Then this year at FCW, he remembered my name. I had sent a dvd of last years FITS, and he was so upset it didnt work (he brought it up first), (some dvds dont play on some dvd players and he said he tried a couple and what not)...So I told him I would send him a copy on VHS. He got all excited and was like really? (which of course I like sent out almost as soon as I got home) Then we discussed his event here in Illinois, and I said he couldnt come the first weekend in OCtober, he of course asked why, I said cuz I would be in Disney world. He said he didnt want to come the weekend I wouldnt be here. (what a guy)....Then we discussed the picture of him and Jacob, and how thats how I discribe him to people, and he goes i promised you the picture, I wasnt going to back out of that promise. (As if I didnt love the guy enough already)...

He and Ric had me laughing at Beckys event as well.

Cant wait til Saturday. (when I have a FCW picutes to music dvd to give him, lets hope it works this time for him)

Awww Shell-I am so glad that we met! I am so happy that you and Birdie are so close and that your love for Greg brough ya'll together as well!

It's so great to read these experiences and know that Greg has been everything that we knew he would be. I have been lucky (no pun intended...or is it? LOL) enough to meet Greg twice (once at SSW last year and then again at his FCW event that I attended with Birdie and Bob). He is this big teddy bear that you just want to hold on to forever. The hugs are great I must say! Hehehe...

I can't wait to read more experiences after this weekend when the girls get home. I told Shell to get as many hugs as she could and I hope she does! Hehehe ;)

Had to add to just how nice this young man is.

I first met Greg this year at Zanies in the Chi-town area then at SSW in NOv.

After his meet and greet when we were approaching for pictures ( my grown daughter and i ) I said to him that I was glad he got to meet us. Afterwards he put his on my shoulders and said " I am really glad I got to meet you too "

how sweet is that? he truly appears to me the nicest young man!

Aww that is our Greg. :wub: Greg is the sweetest and most caring man I have met. He takes the time to talk with all of his fans and is appreciative of everything we do to support him. He is just a good ole southern boy. Course Greg gives the best hugs too so that is a plus.. :P

Ok this is from my "trip report" from 2004. I was sending this to people who weren't necessarily GH fans, hence all the explanations.

Got “Emily” who was also beside “Nicholas” – we chatted about how I came all the way from Toronto. Got Jason (my hubby) to get them to sign the magazine with a threesome picture of them with “Lucky”. Actually I got “Nicholas” to sign that, I didn’t have anything else for him, he got “Emily” to sign it. So then I planned to go over to get “Lucky” to sign it.

Jason got in the “Sonny” line, as it was the longest one in the place – and I went to the “Lucky” line. Met this huge “Lucky” fan – who showed me this awesome blow up picture of them from last year that she was getting signed. She told me that “Lucky” was so super nice, and gave awesome hugs. Didn’t surprise me, as everyone was being super nice. So Jason was getting closer and closer in the Sonny line – because “Lucky” went on a washroom break and was taking forever to get back, saw that he was bombarded across the room on his way back. So I ran over to Jason and told him what was taking me so long. Ran back. “Lucky” finally got back. While we were waiting in line “Elizabeth” was leaving with her husband, who used to be “Juan” on the show. I forgot about her, lol – I probably would’ve gone to her line before “Lucky”. So I snapped a picture of them. Now the actor who plays “Lucky” – his real name is Greg Vaughn – used to play “Dan” on Charmed, the girls neighbour, “Piper’s” ex boyfriend. When I got up to the front I had my magazine for him to sign. At the last minute I decided to get him to sign a solo page of him, so he could personalize it. He said “Hi – can I get a hug?!” “Sure” and he hugged me really tight! So then I asked him to sign the magazine, and he said, “Do you want this page, (the page I gave him) or (and he flipped the page to another one of him solo) this one?” “This one, please.” (The first one.) So has asked my name and I spelled it for him, and I kind of bent down while he was signing and I did my little Charmed speech – “I watched you when you were on Charmed, and you’ve been on my 2 fave shows” (like a nerd, lol!) and he said something about it was great, and he got to work with “all my girls”. So then we took our picture, which he pulled me in really tight for! Stupid chick who took it though didn’t zoom like Jason was doing, so it’s not as great as it could be. I’m going to try to fix that – there’s a girl at the side of the picture and lots of space around it. As I was waiting to take chickie’s picture (she asked him to kiss her ((on the cheek lol)) for the picture – Jason came over and told me to hurry up, he was at the front of the line – so I took the pictures, I took another one posed for her after that – they will be good ones – maybe as good as the last one - I ran over to the Sonny line. (So I didn’t get to take my alone picture of Lucky.)

And hence started my major crush on Greg! :love:

And I actually saw that girl over on the Natalia board, too funny! :D

My I love Greg moment started the moment I found out he was a NY Yankees fan. :)

I think the first time I met Greg was 2003 at Cynthia Preston's event in 2003.

When I was at FITS Indianapolis, I met both Greg and JT. They are the sweetest, sexiest men alive. I was able to get my lunch bag signed by Jason. And to be honest, they are better in person than on TV. I love those 2 to death! :wub:

My daughter and I attended FCW and Greg was one of the stars we stood in line to meet. He was so gracious and nice to each and every fan.

I thought I'd share because I love sharing my stories.. I know I don't do it to rub people's face in it... I'm just like really happy I did.

So I first meet Greg in 2004 with Tyler. And truthfully I liked Tyler a bit more,maybe it was more because I show Tyler more on the show then Greg. But Greg was why I first turned on GH. And I never let myself forget it. It was a whole Q and A. We wrote down our questions on a note card and they went through and answered as many as the could. Sadly enough my two where about Charmed.... they did answer one. I asked them if they had a change to go back and guest star would they, or something like that. Then they got into a little talk about it and they said they would. I was happy. And at this event it was the Q&A and then meet and greet. so you had to pay twice. You had to pay for one or the other or both. And I paid for both...... After the Q&A was over they moved them to the next room lined up the fans and then one by one let everyone take pictures with them. They said we could only take picture with both. But it was great, only we didn't get to talk to them...

The next year was Fun In the Sun.... I had read all these things saying he was coming, and then found out he wasn't. I was Bummed, because I really wanted a chance to talk to him. But I got to meet Alexa H and Justin B and Jeff B from AMC and Matt M from GH. And I got to be on TV for like 5 seconds.

So in 2006 I was waiting for FITS to come back because they said something about coming back... never did... in 2006 or 2007. :( Then and old friend posted a link to in formation about the September 2007 event. And I was like I so need to go. So after a bit of begging and all this. My parents let me go.

So I went and I got to meet Jason T first, then Greg, and the Bradford. And I had such a fun time. I didn't like the getting up early, but it was worth it. It was my first time at one of these events So I didn't no what to expect. I was so shocked at what did happen. Because I loved it and because the best thing happened. First quick little note... when I was at Jason event he came over to the table I was out and did the signing and picture. Took me a bit but I realized JT had spelt my name wrong lol. So then I told him and so he got me another one and signed it. So I got to... down side both are spelt wrong. And the only thing was when I was getting my picture. there was mention about Flash and I was like it's my parents Camera I don't know how to put flash on. Jason takes the Camera clicks like two things hands it back to me and is like all set. I felt really stupid and blame it on being early. lol..... At Greg's event I got to tell him he was my Reason was watching and got to tell him I was a big charmed fan. So we talked about that for a bit. Or more like he talked and I could barely get words out of my mouth. And he told me I should of brought it with me. It would of signed it. I was like why didn't I. Of course when he was signed the picture I had. I told Him I was a LnL2 fan and I hated Sam [Back then I did]. I thought it was cute he signed who do you root for. Greg and Lucky. And I got three hugs from him and got to talk to a some girls at my table and it was a fun time. The best part was while waiting for Bradford's event. I was talking to one of the girls who stayed behind and didn't go off and eat like everyone else. We wee talking. Greg was doing the photo shoot with the two girls who won the Silent Auction. The guy taking the picture saw us and i believe told Greg to come over and take a picture with us. and he did. He just walked up to us. We stood up. He came up behind me wrapped his around around and I was I died and went to heaven.So we got a picture with him. And it was very nice of him to do that cause I know he didn't have to. That made the day awesome.... and then Brads event more it even better. Just the whole take was awesome.

Then I got to meet him again in NY in November of 2007 with Kelly. That is what make me like Sam and Lucky... Them and My friend. It was great this time...He remembered me. And I told him I remembered what he said and brought the dvd and he signed it. It was a fun time. I got talk to a few of the girls at my table.

I have to say the second best thing about meeting the Stars and going to the event is meeting and talking with the other people at the events. That;s it for now.
