I decided to put this post inside the secret forum since you never know who is looking at gvb. :giggle: As most of you know Becky's b-day is May 12th and Jenna mentioned a few weeks ago about doing something for the Smile Train. This is the charity that Becky supports. They help perform surgery for children with cleft palettes. The Smile Train website

We thought it might be nice to do a donation in Becky's name for her B-day from GVB, NB and GALA. Last year NB & GALA got together and donated over $200 in her name. :) If this is something that you would like to participate in you can send me your donation via paypal at shelley@ricebelt.net or you can send me one via mail. If you want to send it through the mail then send me an email to shelley@gregvaughan.net or send me a pm and we can work out the details. :)

Also, if you would like to send Becky a b-day wish or just a message you can send those to me too and I will include it in the card I will send her letting her know about the donation. The card will have a list of all that contributed.

The deadline for donations is April 28th. This will give me enough time to print out the messages and send the card to Becky along with sending the donation to The Smile Train.

I think Becky would appreciate this for a present instead of a gift. Becky is a very special lady and this is a great way for us to let her know how much we love her. :wub:

Great idea, Shell! I will send you a donation and post a note for Becky sometime in the next couple of weeks. It's a nice way to show our support for Becky while at the same time benefiting a good cause. :)

Ive gone card shopping like 6 times for both Greg and Becky, and I cant find anything I like for either of them. Maybe Im putting way too much effort into the card thing :giggle:

Hey Niki ~ If you have a card you want to include that is fine. I will send everything to her in a big envelope with all the notes and B-day wishes. :) The main card I will have will list the names of everyone that contributed to her gift. I'm sure Becky is like everyone - we all like to get b-day cards.. ;)
