I know most of you are probably wondering what is going on and where the posts from “Greg” today have gone.

Unfortunately we had someone who decided to play a cruel joke on us and pretended to be Greg. When we figured out what was going on we deleted all the posts and removed the user from the board.

We do know who was doing all of it and are taking steps regarding that persons membership and posting privileges here on the board.

We feel that the actions taken by this person show a complete lack of respect to the site owners, the members of this board and to Greg himself. If they thought they were being funny. They weren’t. And it wasn’t. We personally feel that the person doing this owes those of us to whom the prank was directed an apology.

Thanks for the news Shell and I am disappointed :( and I think the person who did this needs to step up and apologize!!!! <_< Maybe One day the REAL GREG VAUGHAN WILL POST!!! one can only hope ::: Crosses Fingers::: :wub:

I'm so sorry that ya'll are going through this Shell. I can't believe anybody would do this to not only ya'll, Greg fans AND Greg himself. I'm truly speechless right now. Just know that :iluvu: all and if you need anything from me, if I can do anything, let me know!

I am sorry this happened. Greg and his fans did not deserve that. Hopefully, the real Greg will post someday soon. Thanks for letting us know, you do an awesome job on the site and this board and should be commended.

to say that I am upset and disappointed is an understatement. Not disappointed that it wasn't Greg, but disappointed that someone here would do something like this.

UGH!!!!!!!! I am so disappointed that this was done by a member of this board. I'm just glad this person was "caught" before they deceived us any further. An apology is definately owed to this board!!

That was just such a cruel and unfunny prank!! :uhhuh: :nono: Whoever did this really just shows a complete lack of respect for all of us here and for Greg himself. Hopefully this person will no longer find a way to cause problems here or at any other boards if he likes to play people for fools on other boards too!! :angry: Thank you for taking care of the problem! For a while, I actually believed it was really GREG! :(

Shell and Birdie---I hope that neither of you feel guilty for this cruel trick pulled on us by some idiot who thought he was being funny. This is an awesome board, a great place for true Greg fans to gather and gush about our guy. Some day the real Greg may decide to drop in and join us - we can celebrate that day!!!

I'm glad that you know who did this and that this person will not be allowed to post here again.

I missed all of the posts...but just hearing about it...makes me so sad. The worst part of all is that it is a member of the board. It is such a family environment over here.

Whoever did it needs to step up and apologize. Perhaps it was someone who didn't understand the ramifications and I hope the person can learn from this.

I too believe an apology is owed to the administration and every member of this board........and you call yourself a fan, NOT! :o

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.....and it looks like you've been caught red-handed!

This was recieved by the person who came on the board and caused the problems the other day. I have edited and reposted the apology because the ID of the person is not something that needs to be made public.

The members posting priviledges have been suspended and this apology will close the subject once and for all. For now the sisters posting priviledges are limited so that we can monitor for further problems.

Thank you guys for issuing the apology and admitting what was done.
