Hi folks,

In the latest SOW, there is a lovely interview with Becky and Greg. In the article, Greg jokes that he wanted Lucky to hook up with Liz because he "wanted her fans." I've also seen on several message boards the theory that Greg's popularity has soared simply because he has been paired with Becky, and that "Becky's fans" have accepted him.

Now I don't know about you, but that didn't set right with me! Don't get me wrong -- I adore Becky. I was a Liz fan before Greg ever came to GH. But I love Greg/Lucky REGARDLESS of whether he's with paired with Becky/Liz. I think Greg (and TPTB) need to know that GREG has a devout fanbase too!

I propose that we start sending letters and postcards to TPTB, the magazines, and especially to Greg -- and let them all know that Greg has some LOUD and PROUD fans of his own. :cheerleader:

Its funny - that didn't sit well with me either, since its obvious that GV is loved by his own fanbase.

:woohoo: it's campaign time again!! I love it. The postcard is great BG, I will be printing out some of those tonite along with the new one B did yesterday. :P I kinda have one in mind but haven't had a chance to play with PSP yet. Another one we could use is the "101 Reason" one that B did which was a basis for the scrapbook we did for Greg.

As, I told Greg in his letter, I have been a fan of HIS eversince he was on "Charmed" and when he came on GH I was happy. I love Becky too but Greg is my top priority for sure. :D

Going to start printing, emailing and writing tonite... WAHOO!!

I love the fact that we all zeroed in on that one comment. Frankly it hacked me off enought that I wrote him a letter RIGHT THEN and mailed it on the way home from work.

"Adopted" him. HUMPH! We didn't have to adopt him. We already loved him. "Borrowing fans" Double HUMPH! He had HIS OWN! I don't care who he is working with, as long as HE is front and center!

UGH! :frypan: Makes me mad all over again just thinking about it! Going to print post cards now! <_<

Oh man ~ B is on a roll again...Something tells me Greg's mail count is getting ready to go up BIG TIME! :D

Ugh for me too :frypan:..As Melzi would say "Pfft on adopting Greg." I say we let Greg know how many fans HE has!!!

I sent cards to SOW, Greg, Phelps, Frons and Guza last night. Will do some letters later tonight if I have time.

That reminds me ... when I was collecting entries for the scrapbook, I noticed there were quite a few Lucky lovers who had been fans of Greg's since they saw him on Charmed or Y&R, and they followed him over to General Hospital. The guy has a FOLLOWING. Does he not know that? Something tells me he will soon! Hee! Birdie's the postcard queen, after all. ;) I'll do my best to try to keep up!

P.S. -- LOVE the cards, Birdie! I'm printing some of those out, too!

post card queen has been slacking lately.... but this project has kicked me back into gear!

Will see about a few more graphics tomorrow. Depends on store traffic. But Wednesdays are usually pretty quiet so the odds are good. lol

bumping the thread to remind everyone to keep showing the Greg love to tptb! We have our guy in a front burner story line and we need to let them know how much we LOVE IT and want to see more more more. :D

Ooh, this thread reminds me ... I know what else on which we can can focus our efforts: the opening montage.

With all the recent cast changes, I'm betting the montage will change soon. I think now is a good time to encourage TPTB to give Lucky his OWN spot, one in which he's not simply jammed in behind Emily and Nikolas like an afterthought. (I'll never forget the first time I saw the new montage. I was so miffed! The son of Luke and Laura deserves better than that!)

Ooh I totally agree BG!!! Lucky deserves his own spot for sure. They really need to update the montage - Steven is still on there and even Rachel.. :blink: I think it needs to get updated for sure. Yup Yup - off to write to tptb to give Lucky a spot in the montage!!!!

It's funny that you mentioned that cause I was thinking about that yesterday. Was wondering if I could mention something to my new friend in ABC marketing department about adding Greg to the credits in addition to emailing Frons and co. The guy needs to be FEATURED not crammed into the end like he doesn't matter at all. He is the son of Luke and Laura. He deserves more focus than he has gotten. (Glad to see his talents are finally being appreciated, they need to show they appreciate the man too!)
