I paid a visit to a gaming store and asked about the "Elite". Sounded really good with the latest version of the Xbox 360. All in black and with the ability to use Full HD (1080p) with the HDMI connection, and of course the 120gb hard drive. Improved fans and hardware. (this is what the 360 should have been from the beginning... okay maybe not black.)
In certain stores you have the ability to swap your old 360 to Elite. You will need to bring five games, 99kr and your 360. When I asked how to solve the problem with the data on the old 360 he replied that you will actually be able to take the Elite home and do it there, you will get a special “transfer solution”; like a memory card with you.
The thing is that you have to pay full prize for the Elite, bring it home and do the data transfer. Take it back to the store, bring your old 360 (with five games…) and you will get your money back. A stupid solution if you ask me, I suggest that you buy a memory card instead and do it. Or you can buy a transfer kit on the web, so that you can transfer your data on the 360 to your PC.
Yeah, EB Games in Norway have the same deal with the Elite. But here you actually have to take all your data from your old one onto a memorycard (or a back-up HDD if you got that) before you get to trade it in.
I know in some of the swedish stores you get to do the transferring of data in the store, they do it for you. But I guess that depends on each store owner what he/she prefer.
why don't you wot have just ask ur wife or hubby or mam and dad if you can hav it for xmass....lol but i don't no if i will get it? i would like it i have hd with hdmi so it will work just fine SWEET

Yes, I heard that too.
The easiest way should be to buy a memory card (64mb) and just transfer your profiles and saves from the 360. The rest you just download again...
