THIS is a post on some forum with stats of all the armies used in major North American tournaments this year and how common they are and how well they perform on average (the right hand column). It is ranked in order of how well they do on average in these tournaments basically, for those who don't want to read his blab about how he came up with the stats and what they mean.

Some interesting results, I guess they could be expected, though Dwarfs and Chaos seem to do badly. Daemonic Legion, Brettonians and Woodies a fair way out in front though.
