EARTH 216No longer the Earth that we know of, Earth 216 is a small, "pocket universe" that lies on a different plane of existence. It was thrust into turmoil as "homo superior" or...mutants, started sprining up all over the globe. After a few "accidents", human mistrust of mutants was set into high gear, with mutants either locked up or killed. Soon, Professor James Howlett, a mutant with the ability to heal, decided to start up a safe haven for all mutants alike. He opened a facility in Westchester, NY and started gathering any mutants he could find to join his cause. His first team consisted of Lauren Collins, Sophie Mentaga, Sooyara Qadir, Dave Alley, J.J Guthrie, Joshua Foley, Noriko Yamamoto, Jullian Celler, Cessily Cain, Santo Caro, Bryan Cruz, and Kev Ford. Those twelve became the founders of Howlett's "rebellion". They were a "Mutant and other Individuals Rescue Allaince", or "Moira" for short. Their mission was to save any persecuted mutants they could find. At the same time, a group of young, adventure-loving mutant misfits banded together and started living underground, to escape persecution. They took refuge in a place they named "No Man's Land". Under constant attack from Military troops, they love the rush of battle, but many of them die young, due to their dangerous lifestyle. Those who choose agression against thhumans have banded to gether in the Family Circle, a malevolent group intent on stopping the human oppression of mutants, no matter the cost. They preside in the abandoned St. Clark's Hospital, a broken down building on the outskirts of Westchester. No one suspects they live there. Even better, no one ever comes by. And if they do...well...bad things happen to them.
Now, Professor Howlett's newest recruits, Gina "Gene" Grey, Scotty Summers, Hank Coy, Warren Worthington Jr., and Robert Drake, all inexperienced teenagers, are called on by Professor Howlett to be his new team. Whether they want to or not, they have been chosen. And others will follow. Professor Howlett's machine, Cerebra, has been able to find humans all over the world...and across different timelines. The mutants have to try to go through differnt worlds, finding different people full of potential to help their plight.
Now, in desperation, Howlett and his staff are on a recruiting mission against time and the Family Circle. They must try to recruit mutants from their timeline and others in order to prevent the Family Circle from their goal-not to mention the fact that humans are on their tail as well. If they want to have any chance at all, they'll need help. They'll need people to join them, on
