I almost want to say I'm happy with this one but I know better. I have terrible "art self esteem", I always feel like something could be better than it is. Or I'll be happy with a couple things but won't like the whole piece overall. This one isn't done but I'm pretty excited to keep working on it. I've been trying really hard lately to find my own "style" and even medium to do it in for Illustration, which is just so important for what I'm trying to do but sooo much harder than it would seem! :gah: Anyway, I'm excited that I'm excited (lol) to work on these quirky little sock moth dog things I came up with....:lol: And I really enjoyed the mix of traditional and digital media...I love coloring on the computer but drawings that are made completely on the computer tend to look stale and well...computerized. So I wanted to incorporate some traditional drawing in there too (doggie is sketched out in pencil and scanned in).

Now the question is...brown or green? :lol: I'm leaning towards green!

I'd say brown. You can't see nearly as much detail on the green. :)

I def. vote green. Brings about more contrast overall.

That's different! I like it. Makes me think of some of the fantasy artists. I like the brown. Can't explain why. It just seems...I dunno....more coherent.

I really like the brown, it brings more out than the green one does, atleast for me.

I like both. I feel like the green gives it a darker look, I don't feel like im losing detail really, it just depends on what you are wanting to bring out in the piece of art, and what it means to you.

Beautiful! The brown is my favorite. It gives it more depth and seems to make it more vibrant.
