A steel came out of tort and himi. Possible? I don't know much about the steel gene. Is it recessive? Or just one carrier needed?

Steel is dominant over E- so you can't get it out of the tort because it's carried on the extension gene. I know you if you have an animal that has TWO Es genes, you can end up with the steeling not shown up (I believe this is what is called a self steel?), which can lead to fun little surprises like this :lol:
