All right, so I toyed around on some scripts, and found this awesome one with new features. So I modified them to fit on here. You'll notice there are new buttons about the text box when you type up a reply.
First, we the "Off Topic" button. This one is for Out Of Character threads only. This should be used for random additions to threads, just to keep things a little organized. You will have the tags and content as so;
CODE
[offtopic]Claire likes cheese.[/offtopic]
[offtopic]Claire likes cheese.[/offtopic]
Second, there's the "Spoiler" button. This one is nifty, and for Out Of Character threads only. This should be used for things like books, movies, and the like. You will have the tags and content as so;
CODE
[spoil]THIS IS THE TEXT. This is what you should be afraid to read, because it'll spoil everything. Shame on you.[/spoil]
It will end up like this (click SPOILER to view):
[spoil]THIS IS THE TEXT. This is what you should be afraid to read, because it'll spoil everything. Shame on you.[/spoil]
Next, there's the "Out of Character" button... Can you guess what this is for? It's for In-Character threads ONLY. Its sole creation was for IC threads, and function as a uniform way for members to make Out Of Character notes in their In Character posts. As you will see, the 'OOC:' text is already in there, so when the box pops up, all you will need to type is the content of your Out Of Character note.
CODE
[ooc]We're awesome.[/ooc]
[ooc]We're awesome.[/ooc]
Finally, there's the Mature tag. This tag is easier to put in, and text-only. This is what you MUST use for mature threads, as well as the simple [M] tag in your topic title. You only need to add a single tag, like so;
[mature]
SO. If something isn't working properly, please drop me a PM. =D Any and all questions are welcome as well.
