The inside: She experiences have changed her. From the timid, scared whelp into strong, brave and intelligent. She is always kind, but attacks those with a heart of black. She has learned to accept all those, no matter what breed. She welcomes all with her warm personality. She fears the return of Trention.

Her life so far: It's a story, and I'm not done, so I'll post the part I have so far =3

"No! Don't go! Please, stay with us!" Whimpered a small cub. The sun was rising in the sky, settnig shadows every where in the forest. Clouds scattered the sky, though they were only white. The small cub was inside a stone den, watching a larger wolf go.
"I can't, Essence, I must go for you" He whispered, nuzzling the small cub.
"Father! Don't go, please! You can stay! We can hide you!" She yelled, tears streaming down her cheeks.

The time of war was upon the wolves. The southern wolves were being invaded by the nouthern wolves, who were trying to take over their lands. The males from southern packs were being called to enter the army, so that South could have hope for survival.

Essence was a South wolf, who was suffering the fate all the females were. If her father didn't leave, female wolves would come and murder him for deserting.
"I must leave" Essence's father said, who's name was Kiron.
Essence turned her head and ran to the back of her den, whil her mother, Candiss, came towards her mate. She too, had tears running down her cheeks.
"I love you, Kiron. Please, be careful and come back alive" She whimpered, her ears flat with fear.
Kiron softened is gaze. He nuzzled her and stared her in the eyes.
"Don not fret, Candiss, I am strong. I shall come back alive, mark my words" He vowed, and the two started to nuzzle each other. After a few nuzzles, Kiron turned and left his mate and his daughter, on his way to the army meet. He was scared, though he didn't show it, as he ran towards his destination, leaving his family behind, but staying in their hearts as well.

Meanwhile, in the North lands. "Mother, I can't wait for us to get a bigger territory!" A small, skinny male cub barked. His mother looked down on him with caring eyes.
"Yes, my darling, and the best part is all the wolven who wish to voulenteer. No more dieing from diesease of these lands. Now, we can win and become healthy " His mother, Zenga cooed.
Her son's name was Kendos. He was completely black except for a tip of white of his tail. Kendos was a very weka cub, scrawny too. But that was because of the horrid deaseas the animals around him carried. All the wolves either died of starvation, or get the sickness. His father had volenteered for the war, and Kendos was proud of him. He smiled as he watched his father leave, running like the speed of light.
"Someday, my son, someday..."

Dawn light hit Essence's face as it shone through the clouds. She lifted her head wearily, and gave a small yawn. She shook her drowsy eyes and looked towards her sleeping mother. It had nearly been 6 months, Essence thought with a pang of fear. Her father was there, fighting for his life, trying to get the strange wolves away from our lands. They were different. Essence never thought of them like that, she thought they were different then wolves. They seemed like a different species, frmo what her mother had told her of them. Essence padded from her de, dew drops falling to her white pelt. The black tip on her tail told of great misfourtune, though she scoffed at that remark.

Essence was now 7 months old, and a beautiful oung wolfess. Essencewas one of those wolves who was assigned a mate. Her mate was a stuck up, self-proclaimed prince. He made her sick. She shivered the thought off, and continued her walk. She sniffed the air, and sighed. What a beautiful day, she thought. She walked towards the water hole, large enough for the South Wolves. She dipped her head and started to lap up water, tasting the freshness. It was then tht she noticed something wrong.

The bushes rustled. Her head shot up, looking around for the source of the sound. Twigs snapped. A strange scent came to her. It smelt of...sickness. Her eyes were wide with horrour. A snarl energed from the bushes. She sterpped back against a large tree. Her ears were flat and her tail was against her bottom. White pelt was ruffled in the slight, sick-scented breeze. There. She saw it. The flash of grey fur against the bushes. Her breathing became deap. She took another step back, so she was cornered against the tree. Eyes. Red eyes watched her from the other side of the water hole. She gaped. Emerging from them was a large, grey wolf. He looked ragged and rough. She knew what she had to do, but her paws wouldn't move. He laughed.
"Ah, a Souther. And a beautiful one at that," He said in a flirtatious voice. "One Souther won't make a difference"
"S-stay ba-back!" She breathed.
He howled a laugh. He didn't stop, he jumped over the water hole. She was now able to move. Her paws carried her throgh the tangled trees, somehow, trying to find her home.
Her ears pircked in hope. Her den! She ran near it, but stopped. A scent came through her nose. It smelt of wolf. She stepped forward. Her eyes widened. This scent was one she had never smelt before. Blood.

Kendos coughed. He was getting stronger, his mother sacrificing her own food for him. He was now a handsome young wolf at the age of 7 months. Kendos's black pelt had regained it's healthy look, his eyes full of life. He looked towards his sick, dieing mother. He stayed away, as she wished. She didn't want Kendos getting sick because of a dieing old fool. He whimpered as he watched her there, breathing for the last time. Tears ran down his cheeks as her heart stopped. Staring eyes pointed towards the sky. Zenga was no more.

Kendos stayed near his mother for a few days, before covering her with dirt. He left his past behind him that day. With a final note of goodbye to his mother, he ran. He would go to the mountains, away from the war. He would stay far away from any source of destruction or chaos of any kind. He wouldn't be involved in this war.
"Mother, father, forgive me. But I cannot go on living like this. I must flee to the mountains. I must be free of this horrid life" He gasped, running like he never had before.
Tears fell from his face, falling to the dry earth beneath him. He would reach the mountains, even though they were far away, he would reach them. Something inside him was drawing him there. He never looked back. Kendoss kept his eyes towards his destination. He would not give up. No matter what. He would reach the mountain or die trying.
"You...brute. What brings you here, on the territory of a loner? You do realize that the penalty is death," A female voice rasped.
Kendos turned his head, looking at and aged old she-wolf. She was a brown wolf. Her fur was pulled out in patches, her teeth yellow. Her eyes had a disturbing look. And at one glance he knew. She had lost her mind.

Essence blinked in disbelife. There, laying in front of her, was her murdered mother. Teeth marks on her throat, and her stomach ripped open. Essence stepped back, mouth open.
"Mother...." She whispered, not wanting to belive it.
It must have been those Northerns! Her breathing quickened as she heard paw prints. She twirled around, only to be looking face to face with two Nourtherns. One from the lake, and another who's jaw was dripping with blood.
One of them stepped forward, licking the blood from his face. He glared at Essence with a blind gaze. And his voice was cold, no emotion at all.
"Run" He growled as his friend and him circled around her.
Essence gaped. She stepped back. Without another word said, she ran. She jumped over the two wolves, reaching the entrance of her home. She shook her head as tears treamed down her face. With a last glance at her mother, she ran. She could hear the laughter of the two Northerns, cackling like madbeasts. But she didn't stop. She kept running for hours, maybe even a day. She only stopped because she couldn't run any longer. Falling to her stomach, she cried. A sad howl came from her mouth, soon ending as she caught her breath. Over and over again, asking herself the same question. Why?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kendos bared his fangs at the she-wolf.
"Stay away, wench. Come closer and I'll kill you," He hissed, stepping back.
The she-wolf laughed. Kendos winced. Her laughter was horrid and insane.
"You? Kill me? Ahahahahaha! Pathedic mutt! I shall not let you pas-" She stopped, falling back.
Kendos blinked. What was going on. He stepped forward and sniffed her scent. Dead. He smelt sicness on her. She must have been using her last moment of life to prepare her burial, seeing as her paws were covered with dirt. Kendos dragged the she-wolf to the side, and sniffed around. He only returned once he had found a wolf shaped hole in the ground. He lowered his jaw and gently picked up the she-wolf, dragging her towards the hole. He dropped her in, and barried her with the dirt she had left behind.
He checked around him. Pleanty of food, and a shelter for the night. He would stay here for the night. He padded towards the worn patch of cozy grass, covered by a tree. Resting his head on his paws, he sighed. Why must everything be like this? War, death and decivence at every turn. He closed his eyes as his thoughts melted away, letting him drift off into a slumber. Tomorrow. He would continue his quest tomorrow, he thought before he drifted into a slumber, the last thing he saw was a leaf dropping in front of his face.
Essence opened her eyes. The sun was high in the sky. She slowly raised to her feet and looked around. She noticed that she was in a different spot then she was before. She waited for her wolf eyes to adjust to the darkness. She blined. What...what was this strange place? She saw wood. Wood was all around her, trapping her inside. And she looked behind her....a strange, silver material. It was like a spiderweb. She tried to bite through the siberweb thing, but she couldn't. It was very strong. She tried to push her way out, but she couldn't again. Where was she? She was trapped! Her eyes widened with fear. She smelled the air. What was that strange smell....then it came crashing down to her mind. Humans!
