Description: Nuevo Proyecto De Jensen

Encontre esta nueva informacion sobre jensen:

It’s going to be a busy year for CW’s Supernatural star Jensen Ackles, who has just acquired another acting gig. Aside from his upcoming movie, Ten Inch Hero, Ackles will be appearing in the theater production of A Few Good Men in June.

Ackles, a native of Dallas, Texas, currently stars as Dean Winchester, the classic rock-loving demon hunter, on the thriller series Supernatural. His acting credits include Days of Our Lives, Dark Angel, Smallville and Dawson’s Creek among others.

A Few Good Men, a play by Aaron Sorkin, has been acclaimed on Broadway and has been made into a movie in 1992. It follows the story of two marines who are charged in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay. As their military lawyer explores their case, he uncovers an intense conspiracy, which puts him in a big predicament. Eventually, he makes a noble and fearless effort to defend his clients, which puts the Marine code of honor on trial. Originally presented at the Heritage Repertory Theatre of the University of Virginia’s Department of Drama, the new adaptation is set to launch in the Casa Mañana Theatre on June 5-10, 2007.

Joining Ackles will portray the role of Lt. Daniel Kaffee, and actor Lou Diamond Phillips will be playing Colonel Nathan R. Jessep. Phillips credits include Young Guns I & II, La Bamba, Stand And Deliver, Courage Under Fire and The King of Siam.

According to several news outlets, A Few Good Men is something to watch out for, evident in its positive reviews from the New York Post and Time Magazine.

If you’re an avid supporter of Ackles, you can catch a glimpse of the 29-year old actor in the following performance schedule:

Tuesday, June 5 at 7:30 pm
Wednesday, June 6 at 7:30 pm
Thursday, June 7 at 7:30 pm
Friday, June 8 at 8:00 pm
Saturday, June 9 at 2:00 pm & 8:00 pm
Sunday, June 10 at 2:00 & 7:00 pm

Hathor - May 11, 2007 09:21 AM (GMT)

slayer-13 - May 12, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)

Laila_Ackles - May 13, 2007 04:55 PM (GMT)

:zuzto2:)

Mrs_Ackles - May 15, 2007 11:55 PM (GMT)

~Andune~ - May 16, 2007 12:06 AM (GMT)
Tom cruise alguna vez esta bien?? :parte:

Mrs_Ackles - May 16, 2007 12:11 AM (GMT)

Besos

Marina - May 16, 2007 12:32 AM (GMT)

~Andune~ - May 16, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)

mileya - May 17, 2007 10:08 AM (GMT)

* sigh

Just got back from seeing "A Few Good Men" -

Mundane things first . . . if you don't have a car be prepared for expensive cab rides around Fort Worth. If you want to grad dinner near Casa Mannana your best bet is Dos Gringos - just down the block from the theatre. If you do have a car the parking lot in front fills up fast, but there's another one in the back.

Like you cared to learn all this??

The performance . . . We were in section 4, first row. The good: we were three freaking feet from Jensen for much of the time. A lot of his action took place on our side of the stage, including him bounding out on stage, and bending over the table on stage. Nice, umm rear view to greet us:)

Let's get the physical stuff out of the way first, shall we? He was fucking gorgeous!! Lynsey says "It was like looking into the sun!" The porr woman just couldn't concentrate:)) He's thinner and younger looking in person. And he made those goddamn dress whites *HOT*. Also made the baseball shirt he came out in for one scene hot. Also - ok, basically everything he wore looked good.

The acting. Ok - he flubbed a few lines - nothing major. And that is the only bad thing I can think to say about what was otherwise a remarkable performance. He more than held his own, he did the comedy just right and got the emotion down just so. No over emoting - not that I thought he would - no wooden, "stage-y" moments. He was. Just. Fabulous.

We were lucky enough to be sitting close enough to see a lot of the small things that really made the performance work for me - the subtle things, the way his shoulders moved during a particularly emotional scene, the tensing of a jaw, etc.

Fan stuff. His girlfriend was in the audience. Jared wasn't. At least not that we saw. We did go around to the stage door afterwards (it's actually marked "Stage Door" - can't miss it) but they were having a reception after the show so no one was coming out. And really, after spending two and a half hours with Jensen practically (alas only practically) in our laps, what more could we really hope for.

Warning. The first word Jensen says is "Sam!!!!" Be prepared. Different Sam:)

Totally awesome to hear him keep saying "Sam" repeatedly -- live. Okay, so I still can't get over it (this is Lynsey commandeering Kat's laptop). We ended up sitting with a bunch of other LJers, and all went out to Ol' South Pancake House afterwards to ... well, basically to squee about Jensen and what a great time we had (waves hi to new friends).

Those of you who are going -- you're really in for a treat! Oh, and the folks at Casa Manana couldn't have been nicer. Neither could the fans. :)

Cheers,
Kat and Lynsey

The very tall blur in the center of all the other blurs is Jared Padalecki. He was at A Few Good Men tonight, supporting Jensen. This picture was taken while he was standing in line for a drink at intermission. He was very polite and charming to all the fans who asked to take pictures of/with him, and seemed to be quite gracious to everyone. I was too shy to go over and ask for a picture, so I stood against the windows and took this bad, stalkerish photo of him. I suck.

When we returned to the theater after intermission, I spotted where Jared was sitting. I will admit, my eyes drifted over to him during a few scenes, even though I couldn't quite see his face for his reactions. However, he was one of the first people to jump to his feet for the standing ovation that followed the show. So much love. *squooshes him*

The show tonight was excellent. This kind of show is exactly what Jensen needs to do, both for himself and for his career. For himself, it lets him get direct, immediate appreciation from the fans for his work. For his career, it shows the rest of the world what we have known for years: the boy can ACT.

Jensen and Lou Diamond Phillips stopped the applause during the bows to give a tribute to our soldiers and veterans around the world, as well as to their families and loved ones. I didn't realize before the show, but it's D-Day. I don't know whose idea it was to say something, but I'm so proud of our boy. *beams*
