T2
Type 2(or standard) consists of the two newest blocks and the latest core set. Current type 2 is Kamigawa Block( Champions, Betrayers, and Saviors) Ravnica Block(City of guilds, guildpact, dissesions[not out yet], and 9th edition and Coldsnap[not out yet, and the only time will there be a set like it].
There are three different type of decks; Combo, Aggro, Control. Combo like to take the win by going crazy with well a combo, usual teir 2 decks in standard. Aggro, beat face in is there game plan, simple. Control, take control of the board with counters board clearers, hand disruption, whatever as long as they stop you they are happy, and finish it off by playing some sort of win condition.
THE DECKS ARE HERE!
AGGRO:
THE ZOO - Basically you drop beat after beat after beat and if that doesnt work burn there face. Simple to play not so easy to make, get the check books out this deck is a doozy. The most common loss is to itself...stupid mana problems.
Gruul Deck Wins - Basically the same point as Zoo but with a little less colour confusion. Does the same as Zoo, beat and burn. Also, its a little pricey.
BW Discard. - No hand equals no problem. Beat face in with early beats then bring it in for the kill with a descendent or council, Jitte helps too. More of an aggro control. Multiple variatons. Ghost Dad, Husk, and hand in Hand
Control
Owling Mine - I guess it is more control than combo, you control there hand size and sudden impact/ owl for the win countering stuff and gigadrowsing for the stall...
GW greater good - drop early beats then stop them dead in there tracks with the prarade of yosei's thanks to cong.
Gł - Still viable, doesn't see much play do to an extremely fast meta but it can still get the job done.
Sizzetron- Very viable, Uses Tron and signets to get out finishers like Ryusei, Keiga, and the Big Simic Sky Swallower out on turn 3 or 4.
Combo
Heartbeat - Can combo out consistently around turns 4-5, the speed need to deal with a mainly aggro meta. Still has its problems. It is dirt cheap to make.
