If this card destroys a monster with an A-Counter by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, Special Summon the destroyed monster to your side of the field at the end of the Battle Phase. When this card is removed from the field, all monsters that were Special Summoned by this card's effect are destroyed.

Ah, an alien card. When POTD came out, I bought a box and found all this alien stuff. the A-Counter thing is definately something new in this game, but a bit slow. First, you have to be able to generate counters, Alien Grey, anyone? Second, you have to pray that the monster stays on the field long enough to use it. Aliens are definately are different type of deck and could be very controlling. However, without more support, it sould seem just a little too hard to pull off.

Traditional - 1/10 (You have Envoys and way better cards, why bother?)
Advanced - 6/10 (Only good for the deck around it.)

V. Raptor's Review
This is going to be somewhat of a strange review, as this card can really only be rated for an "Alien-Deck." Anywhere else, the Monarchs will run it over and get their effects off.

So, I'm just going to review the new "Alien" theme as a whole. In PotD, we were given all sorts or weird, new Alien Cards, each with its own twisted effect.

We got Alien Grey, a weak Flip-Effect monster who places one A-Counter (Alien Counter) on an opponent's monster; Alien Skull, who can be Special Summoned to the opponent's field by tributing their monster; Alien Hunter, who attacks once again if killing a monster with an A-Counter on it; Alien Warrior who places 2 counters on an opponent's monster when it's killed in battle; Space Beast Gangil, who is a 2 tribute that puts an A-Counter on an opposing monster once per turn, a 1000 ATK, 5 star monster that allows you to add an Alien from your deck to your hand instead of drawing; and, of course, Alien Mother.

This, in addition to a couple spells and traps, is the Alien Support we have. Also, I should note, they're Reptiles, so that's good food for Ultra Evolution Pill (okay, that last sentence was there mostly for me, I admit it).

Really, it sounds like a lot, but as of today, a decent Alien Deck I think is a little ways off. I imagine we'll be seeing a lot more of the creepy creatures in upcoming sets, but for now, I don't see too much potential in a die-hard Alien Deck.

What we really need to help this decktype out is to get a card that would allow one to move A-Counters from DEAD monsters onto living ones...I think with that (and a few more Alien Monsters...no gamebreaking effects, just more Aliens), we could have a cool decktype that doesn't include Chimeratech Over-freakin'-dragon, lol.

My Ratings For The Decktype:

Traditional: 1/5 (NOTHING SURVIVES LONG ENOUGH HERE)
Advanced: 2-3/5 (It'll go up once we see more support)
Artwork: 4/5 (I like this one...not sure why)

duel phoenix's Review
Ah alien mother. When power of the duelist came out I was stunned at
her power! She has a red moon baby effect but pumped. As for support
she has all she needs and with some teching she could be the next
envoy. but as the fates have it , it can be beaten by the chimeratech
otk. So this card needs more from good 'ol konami and upperdeck.

Traditional 1/10 to....much.....chaos.....
Advanced 8/10 it can be good but needs more
Art 9/10

cya
