Mass arrests, Police assault on CO. CHANGE member, and Police Provocateurs. Par for the Course at the DNC

The DNC saw its first mass arrest on the night of the 25th, on the west end of Civic Center Park. Around dinner time a number of protesters had stopped to eat when police entered the park looking to remove them. In a moments notice the signal was given and the protesters took to the streets in front of the Denver court house.

Unfortunate for them after breaking from the police line and regrouping down a block on Colfax Ave. they marched head long into a police barricade. A classic ambush pinning the protesters against a building wall, Kyle a WeAreChangeColorado.org member was struck by police officers as they closed the line on the west side of the street.

There were reports of tear gas being sprayed on the crowd, a number of protesters were arrested and loaded up on buses, and also police officers dressed as anarchist with masks.

Protesters noticed the build of two individuals, the brand new clothing and Nike shoes and, pointed them out as undercover police trying to fit in with the crowd only to be mocked and chanted down until they left the scene.

Cops dressed as protesters to provoke the crowd have been caught at a number of different actions in the past and is being employed on the streets of Denver during the DNC also.

Only goes to show that protesting is dead. The police are not afraid to use underhand tactics and direct force to control dissent, whilst the protesting people refuse to use violence, even when provoked by the police.

The whole world mite pay attention if protestors made a mark.. to the docile masses this protest was nothing significant. It will only be significant if people rise up and put the pigs in their place, rip apart downtown Denver and actually get the worlds attention. Their is simply no way the media will cover this unless a big enough noise is made.

I don know.. im not in a good mood today, just a general "fed up with this bs".. bah! <_<
