I too am glad that you came home. When your mommy called me and told me she couldn't find you, I didn't get scared because I thought you were just hiding or sleeping, but after I looked everywhere, including the neighborhood, and still couldn't find you, I started to cry. When I heard that knock on the door I just knew it was you...You have captured my heart in upspeakable ways. Please never run away again. I will try my bestest to make you happy here. I love you my dear Basil.

Sage, my love--
I miss you a whole bunch. I have kitties here in Maryland, but they are nothing like you--not as cuddly, or beautiful. There are four actually. Cartman, Willow, Snookie, and Mr. Q. [he's all white so we named him q-ball but I call him Mr. Q :)] They bite me, and eat my food when I leave it unattended. It makes me mad. I had some tuna fish last night, and let willow lick the can; I would have much rather it been you.
I can't squeeze them, or carry them like a baby, as I can you, and they don't come to see me when I'm sad like you would. It never failed, you know. I was sad, and you were there, licking my fingers and loving me!
I never got to tell you how cute I thought it was that you would always alert your Mommies when I left our apartment. It made me smile.
My Dad wants me to clean out the cats' litter box. It's gross, let me tell you. It smells lik rotten eggs or something. I wish now that I would have cleaned your nastiness instead!
I hope that you're behaving yourself, and having a good time under your black table now that I'm gone. Have your Mommies watch some Dawson for me, okay? I need him at this time in my life, and I don't have him, because your Mommy S is incredibly possesive over her things! :P [Just kidding, I don't think I would have given all seasons to anyone else either. :)] Anyway, make sure they watch it starting with Season 4, the first disc, I think. Keep them company. :)
Have you gotten used to Shane yet? I hope so. Your Mommy S would really enjoy it if you became like Milo & Otis. :)
Alright, Roo I'm tired, and I haven't gone to sleep yet so I should wrap this up; your sister and your brother will have letters tonight though!

I miss you so, so much. We are getting a puppy [another black lab] at my Mom's house soon, I think. Her name will be Lou Lou. Maybe you'll play with her sometime soon? I hope so!

Dear Jasper,
I understand this is your house and bringing three other animals into it is quite overwhelming, but I wish you'd give the three of them a chance. Shane especially--he'd like to play with you since his two sisters won't...I don't enjoy hearing cat fights, and I hate that Shane is afraid to go anywhere near you because he thinks you'll smack in the face as you already have a few times...They'll be gone in a week, so give them a chance while they're here...Please? :unsure:
