Whereever you are, whoever you are, if you want us to come and play in your town or country then write to us here. If you give us the name and number of places that you've seen gigs at and you think would be worth us talking too we'll do the rest. Several of our gigs have come about via fan's requests and we are already planning a US tour next year taking in several key cities including New York, LA, San Francisco and Boston based on the appeals of fans who wanted us stateside and suggested great places to play.
We're your band - THE SMITHS BAND OF SMITHS FANS FOR SMITHS FANS.
We do it because we are massive Smiths fans LIKE YOU and want to rekindle the memories of just how it felt when The Smiths were at their peak...on the radio, playing tours, great TOTP performances. A visit to the pub to find a room full of quiffed, bespectacled kindred spirits who one knew felt the same as oneself about love and life and loneliness.
Graham.

I'd really like you to play near Watford as that's where I live, you came close with St Albans.
:D

Please come to Colchester, a good gig venue is The Twist in Military Road. I can then find out if anyone else in town is still ill !

By the way, has my friend Emanuela in Turin found somewhere for you to play over there yet ?

Hello you dear Lock Jawed Fellow,

Thanks for the tip-off re Colchester. We'll look into that. I've not had word back re Turin but our Manager, Mike, is on the case. We are planning dates throughout Europe and the USA for next year and Italy is very high on the list. We're looking at Milan too, so Turin would be handy for the night before.

Hello

Let me start by saying that im a huge fan of the smiths and within one week of owning Meat Is Murder they skyrocketed there way to my favourite band of all time.
Morrisseys lyrics and Johnny Marr's soulful guitar have changed (for certain) my entire few on music, if not my entire life.

having said this, i was scepticle when i descovered your tribute, however i am deeply impressed by not only your incredible (not only recreation) but rather Retelling of the smiths songs, but also your admirable appreciation for the band.

But im ranting, ill get on with my request

If you ever consider preforming a Gig in Northern Ireland, then may i suggest playing in Londonderry.
Although perhaps it is not as great scale of a city as belfast

but we have a VERY heavy music culture and a great fanbase for the smiths

Derry also holds the pefect venue for such a gig
its a place called the nerve center
http://www.nerve-centre.org.uk/

I don't expect you to be very interested in the idea
however please consider it if a N.ireland gig is on the cards

And on a personal basis
seeing you preform live would make my day completely.

Hi Sol Blast,

Thanks for getting touch and thanks for the heads up on Londonderry. The Smyths are planning to come to Northern Ireland and Ireland soon - indeed we were asked to play in Dublin on October 15th and gigs in other cities/towns would have followed that; that date couldn't go ahead as it clashed with a prior arranged gig.

We'll contact the Nerve Centre and see what's on offer. Do you know of places that are good to play in Belfast? If we combine a gig there with Londonderry and Dublin we can get the three date's we'll need to cover costs.

Graham.
