I was treated to a tour of one of the Black Country's graveyards a couple of days ago and my guide pointed our a particular grave to me where someone had allegedly seen the shadowy figure of a ghostly girl appear.....

Looking at the grave closer, I was gobsmacked to find that it was the resting place of a murder victim, who had been shot in the face in a nearby pub at the tender age of 17 in 1855. The shhoting detail came from my guide, but the fact that the girl was murdered - along with her murderers name - was actually carved into her gravestone.....!!!

I've seen some intriguing epitaphs in the past, but this was the first time I'd seen such information displayed so blatantly!!

Has anyone else seen anything along these lines before?

Which graveyard was this.

It was St Johns Churchyard in Kates Hill, Dudley.....

They are currently trying to desperately save this magnificent building from demolition and their website can be viewed here:
