Title: Jake's Bios
Jake Delfeir - November 29, 2005 08:39 AM (GMT)
I'm only placing two of my four bios here for the time being - the two main ones need lots of updating and reworking. The next two will be primarily for battling and the odd quest, but won't be used as actively as the others.
---
Name: Drakmor Delacroix
Aliases: None
Gender: Male
Race: Dark Elf
Age: Early 20s
Hair Colour: Silvery white
Hair Style: Straight and fairly plain, only thick
Eye Colour: Violet, but turns to red during combat
Skin Colour: Very dark grey, almost black
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 60kg (132lbs)
Clothing: Black and grey clothing covering everything from neck downwards. He has a cape, which is green and very tattered - all that remains from his past incarnation. His gloves and torso armour are made of ring mail. Around his waist is a black belt with a short sword attached to the back, pointing to his left.
Weaponry: Drakmor carries a two-foot long sword called Ascendant. It's nothing special, except for the fact that the blade is made entirely out of an amethyst. Like most gemstones, it channels magical energy exceptionally well, which is it's primary use. Otherwise, it's used for quick attacks and slashes, but isn't well suited for defense.
Weapon Proficiencies: Drakmor was a skilled archer prior to his death, and he has since fallen out of practice. He now focuses solely on swordplay. He's not very good at martial arts, so disarming him can make things hard for him.
Combat Abilities: Drakmor is primarily a magic user. While he used to be an elemental master, he turned completely to the dark arts just before his death. Having fought hard to attain a state of peace in the afterlife, his magic abilities strengthened considerably, though his primary element is dark. His blade, Ascendant, is used more for attacks of opportunity than as a primary weapon, since he's content to simply blast you to pieces instead. He has a second form, that of a Night Angel - he grows black wings, a dark aura, and the ability to use light magic as well as the rest. It's basically a power boost.
Signature Technique, Fallen: Drakmor expends practically all his energy in a desperation blast of great magnitude. He unleashes a massive wave of dark energy, followed by a flurry of various other attacks. The effects are almost random, since his only aim is to unleash as much devastation as he possibly can.
Alternate Forms: The Night Angel was attained by Drakmor after he removed and absorbed sections of Bunder Black's DNA during his time as an Archangel. This made him a Night Angel - similar to an Archangel, but almost a polar opposite. The light techniques of the Archangel are still buried deep down, but Drakmor is largely unfamiliar with them and can do little to summon and control them.
Personality: Drakmor is at times a friendly person, but he's largely motivated by himself and his own needs and desires. If he wants something, he will do absolutely everything in his power to get that thing, and it is a huge thing to him if he is left out and ignored. This leads him to extreme jealousy, and quite possibly make him attempt to take revenge on the one who 'wronged' him. His several years in the afterlife have done little to change that, but now he is more determined than ever - while he no longer believes his death to be wrong, he is extremely stubborn and will still go above and beyond what is required to get his way.
History: Drakmor originally was a Night Elf of another plane. He left during his teens to explore other planes, having been given an amethyst which can open planeshifting portals. He wandered to the Material Plane, where he came upon the closest thing he could to his relatives - the Dark Elves. Being of a darker and more evil nature than his relatives, he didn't fit in too well there. As a result, he learnt the basics of dark magic from them before leaving. Continuing his travels, he encountered Jake Delfeir and joined him for a time, helping to protect the Material Plane. This, however, left him deeply unfulfilled... especially considering that his companions thought he was extremely pushy, and he constantly felt left out. Driven to anger and sadness by his expanding feelings, he left for a time and engineered events to gain power. In fact, he stole Bunder Black's Archangel abilities, becoming a Night Angel. During the process, however, Illumina herself descended from the Gods Realm and destroyed him for his perversion of her powers.
Slain, Drakmor proceeded to the afterlife, filled with resentment and dark feelings. He fought his way through hell, struggling to fight against the demons that threatened to turn his eternal rest into an eternal nightmare. Driven onwards by sheer determination, his powers increased and expanded considerably until he was at the point of safety from the others in hell. He remained there, gradually coming to understand his past actions and realising that he had been wrong. He has no desire to gain revenge anymore for being left out, but he is still the same Drakmor.
With the vast upheavel recently within the True Gods Realm by Bunder Black and Ryuujin Black, the very hells have opened in the Material Plane. Seeing his chance at continuing his life, Drakmor fought his way through hell once more and escaped through the rift, returning to the world of the living. Now he searches for his past comrades, not for revenge, but for forgiveness.
Jake Delfeir - November 29, 2005 11:39 AM (GMT)
Name: Dural Tikrol
Aliases: The Equaliser; Silence
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: In his 30s, but now ageless
Hair Colour: Dark grey
Hair Style: Straight and thick
Eye Colour: Green
Skin Colour: Pale, almost grey
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 80kg (176lbs)
Clothing: A long sleeved shirt, a studded vest, pants and boots. Has a long cape that is clasped to his back in four places and can wrap around him. Releasing the clasp on his left shoulder frees up his body for combat. Wears a broad-brimmed hat. Everything is coloured grey.
Other: Has a goatee.
Weaponry: Dural has clamps along his forearms that hold two armblades each, one along the outside and one on the inside. These are more defensive than offensive, but he still uses them in close combat. In a similar vein, the outside of his boots have blades that curve from the heel to the toes, allowing him to kick for severe damage. His primary weapon is a red bladed whip called Silence, which drains physical and mental energy from the victim with every strike. Finally, he carries two pistols - one light and one dark. They don't require bullets, and instead feed off the energy that gets drained by the whip and from Dural himself. The separate guns can be joined together to unleash a much more powerful attack.
Weapon Proficiencies: Dural is nearly a Weaponmaster - he's dabbled in practically all forms of attack and defence in his life of training, before he selected his current armament. He doesn't like to use anything else, however.
Combat Abilities: Dural is exceedingly good at what he does - he's extremely strong, fast, and resilient to most attacks. He uses his body as much as he uses his weaponry in battles. He's a good marksman with his guns, and has practiced a lot with manipulating Silence. His key strength, however, lies in the primary ability of Silence - any holy or evil creature or person that he kills, he gains some of their abilities. As a result, he possesses the power and capabilities of all sorts of creatures, fair and foul. He can fly by summoning wings, one of which belongs to an angel and the other a demon. Ultimately, his key weakness is elemental magic - he cannot use any of it, and his defence against these spells is abyssmal.
Signature Technique, Equaliser: Dural pours extreme amounts of collected energy into his handguns and uses them to unleash an attack very similar to an Antimatter spell, but without the fusion of the two blasts. The exceedingly large boom remains, however. Non-elemental.
Personality: Dural takes after the name of his whip - he is often very silent. It seems he is constantly brooding, and only speaks when it is necessary. Social skills are non-existant.
History: Dural decided at a young age that he wanted to become strong and protect people from demons. He spent much of his youth toughening himself up, as well as acquiring as many different weapons he could to train with. At about the age of fifteen, he left his home to begin his career as a hero of sorts. He hadn't gone far when he discovered a shrine of sorts, dedicated to the worship of demons. Resting upon an altar at one end was a blood-red whip - the Silence. Curiosity took him, and Dural took the whip. As he did so, the sentient weapon determined that he was strong enough to be its wielder, and thus joined with his mind. Ever since, the weapon and the wielder have been one, and they now share a single purpose - balance. Silence was created to be an equaliser, and to kill any good or evil creatures and people should the balance of power be disrupted. Now Dural travels the world, doing exactly that. For every one he kills, he gains their abilities in the hunt for balance. And should he be parted with Silence, it is likely that his mind would break down. The eager teen that wanted to save the world is gone - now he's driven by purpose, and purpose only.
Ryuujin Black - August 11, 2006 05:19 AM (GMT)
***Valessa Aladelfria-Kuzkiran***
###CHARACTER TRAITS###
Gender: Female
Race: Dracoelf
Physical Age: 14
Actual Age: 4
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 40kg
Eye Colour: Dark Blue
Hair Colour: Pale Blonde
Hair Style: Straight and plain, shoulder-blade length
Skin Tone: Light
Scales: Silver
Apparel: A simple light blue T-shirt bound down just below her elbows, a pair of blue shorts that end just above her knees, and black running shoes.
Weapons: Herself and nothing more
###BATTLE TRAITS###
#Perks#
-Valessa is very light and very agile, capable of running faster than all but some of the best humans. She's also capable of manoeuvring very easily at those high speeds.
-Due to her Draconic heritage, Valessa has scales covering her arms, torso, upper legs and cheeks. Her fingernails are claws, and she has a tail. The scales offer some additional protection from blades, projectiles, and magic. The claws make her potentially lethal in close combat, and the tail helps that as well.
-Valessa has been trained with a number of teachers, including Celestials, so she is quite well-versed in knowledge and skills considering her age. She's lacks combat versatility but is incredibly well honed in hand-to-hand combat.
-She is capable of using some magic, but her abilities are very limited in that regard. She can only use weak light spells and healing magic... but she is very good at manipulating lightning energy.
#Flaws#
-Valessa doesn't have a very good magic sense, and thus she can only detect people and creatures through traditional means, such as sight and hearing.
-Valessa is not very good at manipulating medium and high level magic of any non-lightning type, or withstanding offensive magical energy.
-While not uncomfortable with heights in any form, Valessa cannot stand flying. If her feet aren't touching something solid she gets extremely nervous or panicky (excluding jumps, naturally).
-Due to her elven background, her physical structure is slightly lighter and a little more fragile than the average human, so a solid blunt strike can potentially hurt her more than a sword strike.
#Special Techniques#
-Sky Breaker
Valessa calls a large amount of lightning energy and alters the weather into a vicious thunderstorm focusing on the area around her and her opponent. Very draining, but getting struck by one of the lightning bolts can regenerate some of her magic energy.
-Claw Rush
A reckless move where Valessa charges at her enemies, slashing quickly and repeatedly with little concern for her own safety. Used only against groups of enemies or as a desperation move.
-Lightning Rush
Much like the Claw Rush, only Valessa surrounds herself in a barrier of lightning energy which strikes all the adjacent enemies. Much more draining, but much more effective.
###PERSONAL TRAITS###
#Background#
Because of Valessa's mixed heritage, she was born as the only member of a somewhat unique species - the Dracoelf. She's much like a Dracoman, only with a number of elven traits that give her a more graceful appearance and demeanour. For some as yet unexplained reason, however, Valessa grew at a prodigious rate. Within 2 years of her birth, she had reached puberty, and then finally slowed down to a more human-like growth rate. Some speculation has been given to this, but no-one can honestly say why it happened. Her mind matured just as quickly as her body did, but still left her feeling somewhat cheated of a full education. As such, she actively pursued knowledge - particularly battle knowledge - wherever she could, receiving training in hand-to-hand fighting from Jake Delfeir. Combined with other elements of training from her parents and family friends, she quickly grew to be a good brawler.
Valessa treats her unique heritage as a sign of potential greatness, and so she is constantly striving to accomplish better things. After the Void War, she trained heavily with her best friend Rai Soruga, knowing that her destiny could be right around the corner.
#Personality#
Above all else, Valessa is curious and intellectual. She tries very hard to learn more and pick up more information and knowledge, while honing her skills. Everything she does is in the name of self-improvement, as deep down she believes she has a big purpose or destiny to fulfill. Aside from her switched on nature, Valessa is very friendly and loves to be with other people. Because of her rushed youth, however, she can be quite hormonal and prone to a number of mood swings as a result of her somewhat untrained emotions, particularly that of loneliness.

***Tyveras Yeldorn***
###CHARACTER TRAITS###
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 13
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 50kg
Eye Colour: One green, one blue
Hair Colour: Black with white tips in some places
Hair Style: Long and disshevelled, tied into a ponytail
Skin Tone: Slightly tanned
Apparel: Black pants and boots, with a deep green shirt with only the right sleeve. Over his left shoulder is a brown and green half-cloak. A scabbard is looped around his midsection to clip his sword to.
Weapons: A double-sided sword named Kirin, about four feet in length total.
###BATTLE TRAITS###
#Perks#
-While his training has not been very structured, Tyveras has practiced with his double sword Kirin since he was very young. As he grows, so too does the sword, which means his trianing has never skipped a beat.
-Tyveras is driven by his personal goal of finding his brother. As such, he can be extremely determined and it is very rare for him to back down or give up on anything that is part of that... or he believes to be.
-For some reason unknown to him, Tyveras can understand any animal, and animals can understand what he's saying. He still finds it odd that other people he meets don't have that ability. However, animals can serve as helpers or early warning systems to him in dire times.
-Tyveras possesses the ability to shapeshift into some animals. There's a specific ritual that he has to perform in order to gain this ability, however, and so far he can only change into a hawk or a wolf. He can change forms incredibly quickly too, which can be quite helpful.
-Tyveras has a small smattering of magical ability, though it's untrained and practically untested at all. If necessary, he can use extremely limited earth magic.
#Flaws#
-Tyveras has had no proper training except on his own, so all his abilities and skills aren't as polished and powerful as they could be.
-While not really cocky or arrogant, Tyveras tends to make a lot of judgements about a person fairly quickly and may take some time to realign his thinking, if he doesn't drive them away in the first place. It can also be bad if underestimates someone in a battle.
-Tyveras is inexperienced at dealing with people and thus may quite easily offend some people without realising it.
-The injuries he takes in each of his different forms are exclusive to that form only, but he will feel the pain of them even if he shifts to something else. This can pile up if he's not careful.
#Special Techniques#
-Soul-Link Ritual
While not a battle technique per se, this is the technique that allows Tyveras to gain a new animal form. He must find a member of that animal species willing to perform the ritual with him, and then they exchange a soul link which grants him that power. At this present time, he has only linked with a hawk and a wolf.
-Spinstriker
In desperation, Tyveras may begin a relentless assault where he continually spins his double-sword in a fast flurry of strikes, ignoring his own defences in an attempt to smash his opponents into the ground quickly.

Jake Delfeir - August 6, 2007 01:52 PM (GMT)
This is a placeholder post. I have no new bios to place up, but instead I'm going to list my existing characters and some very minor details about them just to show their activity.
*Original Generation*
- Jake Delfeir. Currently residing in Lumina Plane as Celestial, though has a backseat role now. Spends much of his time watching over his extended family. Mostly inactive.
- Drakmor Helius Delacroix. Major-domo of the Void. In the Celestial's absence (See Tristan's details), he keeps the demon lords in check and maintains business as usual. Assisted by Jyltinian. Mostly inactive.
- Kalayra Aladelfria-Kuzkiran. In semi-retirement, lives with husband Elliot and second child Eidran. Mostly inactive.
*Second Generation*
- Tristan Irostel-Delfeir. Heir to the Lumina Celestial title with no intention of taking it. Married to Alyra Black-Dranekan, currently living in the Nexus Plane with her and their daughter Aurelia. Semi-active.
- Valessa Soruga. Married to Rai Soruga, currently living in the Dragon Plane. Spends much of her time mothering her large family, being the mother of six now. Active, though rarely in an adventuring role.
- Tyveras Yeldorn. Married to Erisa Soruga, lives with her in the Dragon Plane along with their daughter Mariana (the pile of cute). Semi-active.
*Current Generation(s)*
- Lorelei Soruga. Second child of Valessa and Rai, spends much of her time with her older brother Tetsuya as a sky pirate in Nexus. Secretly part of an assassin's guild run by Lasier, though she refuses to actively kill. Recently departed on a quest which she has not detailed to her family. In her late teens, active, essently my current main character.
- Delain Soruga. Fourth child of Valessa and Rai. Incredibly curious with an urge to explore whatever she can - as such she wanders around a lot especially for someone of her young age (roughly 11). Friends with Mariana despite age differences.
- Amy Soruga. Sixth child of Valessa and Rai, twins with Asuka. Relatively newborn, thus semi-active until she ages.
*Others*
- Taya Rikkia. Airship racer and sky pirate in Nexus, romantic interest of Tetsuya Soruga. Active, though limited.
- Jyltinian. Favoured demon of the Void Celestial and guardian/peacekeeper of the Void... if you can call it that. Practically unique as a demon and thus kept with Drakmor as an extra arm. Mostly inactive except in times where a serious ass-kicking is called for.
- Kirin Yeldorn. 'Brother' of Ty, a traveller of the Planes seeking all forms of life to learn and grow from... almost literally. Acts as a wandering healer. Active.
- Dural the Equalizer, status unknown. *wink*
More if I remember them. I have like three years of plot line to think back on, pieces get lost.
