Taipei City Hall Flashback Territory The sophisticated Flashback family has created a mansion out of the Taipei City Hall. The station is connected to the actual building by a wide, expansive tunnel with a red carpet, chandeliers, etc. Similar decorations line the inside of the City Hall. Alternate entrances exist, but only some of the Flashback family knows of where they are. The inside rooms of the City Hall are transformed into bedrooms, dining rooms, lounges, and others, all elegantly furnished. The whole building now calls out money, fame, and fortune. |

Xindian Station Ember Territory Only two tracks lead to the headquarters of the Ember rebel group, one in and one out. As you follow the North-South line all the way down to the southern tunnels, you will arrive at Xindian Station. The flourescent lights shine harshly at all times in the tunnels leading up into the station. The station is not inhabited, and the platforms are used as marketplaces for the people. Up the still escalators are the offices, where the teachers train with students and the War Room is where the triumvirate discuss their tactics. In the main terminal, the windows are boarded up with black tarp, and the space is dimly lit for the artisans "workshop". Subway cars litter the side tunnels that stray off from the main track. These tunnels are branched out from the station like bloodstreams from a heart. Some made in the old days, others made by their inhabitants. This is where the people of Ember reside in poverty but relative comfort. |

Taipei Main Station At the intersection of the East-West and North-South lines, this is the only area of the city that is declared neutral to ensure no bloodshed. The station is well-kept at all times by the loners who have not found a place to belong. They sleep in the main terminal, for anybody who is found cluttering the platforms may be dragged off into a side tunnel where killing is allowed. |

East-West Line The East-West line is highly coveted and lies under neighborhoods filled with riches. It connects downtown to City Hall, the famous Long Shan Temple, and the city centre of the old days. Flashbacks rule along this line, and their station is located at the end of the line. Occasionally Ember has elbowed their way into certain spots along the track, especially at No-Man's-Land which connects the E-W line to the N-S, but Flashback has double their security, and is holding their own in pushing the rebels out of their territory. |

North-South Line The longest stretch of tunnels spanning from one end of the city to the other. This connects Danshui station near the ocean to Xin Dian, what used to be a well-populated neighborhood. On this route is also Shilin Night Market, which has transformed itself into a bustling black market for weapons and assassins for hire. Some stations carry the insignia of Flashback territory, but none of them deep enough within the tunnels. Ember's spies lurk among the tracks, some parts unkept and traps are cleverly laid to make sure nobody reaches Ember headquarters with ill intentions. |

Yangmingshan Once a national park, Yangmingshan is a mountain area that has grown wild. Acres of deep forest is the only place where the citizens of the underground city venture above ground into daylight. Houses and buildings abandoned by their owners may be found deep within the wilderness, where nature has reclaimed her territory. |

National Taiwan University and Hospital Another neutral territory that is off limits to gang fighting. The campus is sprawling and offers multiple places to hide. Since the university has long been shut down, police usually do not set foot on its grounds. The Hospital lies at the heart of campus, and this is where people are brought in to get their wounds treated. There is a no weapons policy from the moment you step onto campus, but that doesn't mean that people actually follow the rules. |
