So I was told that I should be into something other
than the Doodlebops or just get another "phase",
so I just laughed and said
"That'll never happen!"
I was just thinking that this person was just kidding or that's what it sounded like..
Then she was like let me guess your room is wall papered with Doodlebops,
and everything...I replied,
"No, I have Doodlebops, I have Pirates of the Caribbean, I have Harry Potter,
I have a Japanese Calendar, I have Anime and Manga pictures, and I have
pictures of me, my friends, and family on my wall, actually!"
Then I was told that no one (no guy) will ever like me, because I'm stuck liking
2 year old shows, and way too obsessed with them. I was stupid for liking them. Then she made fun of me
(some more) because I have a picture of Lisa, Chad, and Jonathan on my binder
and when you turn on my I-pod Doodlebops appear or that I have the CD in my
purse along with a Spongebob Cd....*sighs*
Which made me really sad because I'm already self conscience about myself
(like most girls) I wanted to cry, but I didn't...
But I won't stop liking them because my FRIEND made fun of me like that..
I didn't know what to say, or do, I just walked away with my Doodlebop binder in hand...

Ya know, if she's gonna put you down like that, and not respect and your likes,
then she really is a true friend. Just don't pay any attention to her, its good that you just walked away. That way you weren't causing any trouble and showing you weren't afraid to do something like that. Don't worry you'll always have us other Doodle fans here! :hug:

Well if this friend of yours is a new one, they can't be your friend, if it's an old one- they're just trying to stab you in the front to let you know how they feel. Maybe it's because you talk a lot about them (not on anyones side!)? If you do, just try to cut it down..I'm obsessed with the Doodlebops, I have pics of them on my binder and I'm proud of it but I keep quiet about it..and I get no negative comments about it.
In front of all that, it's okay to be yourself, don't change if you don't want to.

Don't listen to what your friends say about the Dbs because they don't know what they're talking about.The Doodlebops are for people of all ages to enjoy! I'm 16 and I love the Dbs very much!

aww! i wouldnt worry too much about it. im almost 24 and im going to 1 of the doodlebop shows by myself! i dont really care what other people think, i spent too much time worrying about that when i was younger and it just made me depressed.

I'm comfortable telling people that ask me, "What's your fave show?" I say, "The Doodlebops! They're are little kids show, but they rule." Normally they laugh and are scarily nice about it. BTW, that "FRIEND" of yours should support what you love. She should help you up, not push you down.
