Title: First Task, Hufflepuff Gate
Professor Ravenclaw - May 9, 2006 07:30 PM (GMT)
The first task of the tornament is about to begin. The champions do not yet know what they face, but all have gathered down just outside the forbidden forest in a huge arena, in the shape of a semi circle, over looking the outer parts of the forest. Opposite the stands is the exit into the first task, where the champions will face a challeng that has only ever been completed in myth.
Each champion has there own entrance to the forest, all lined up opposite the wall. Each with a huge house crest next to them. Professor ravenclaw smiled, this was a task that she had come up with herself, and it was to introduce the champions to pain, fear and the will to win.
"LET THE TASK BEGIN" she called out, waving her wand, which let off a loud buzzer noise, and red and green sparks, to show the champions that they could now enter the maze.
-------------------------------------------
(( the task is to complet 8 of the 12 tasks of hercules, you may choise to miss 4 of them out, maybe because you dont have time, or you cant think of a good way to complet it. You are only allowed to carry your wand with you.
The first task is to slay/knock unconscious a
chimaera, beware they have tought skin, and are extremly vicous. Once you have completed/or skipped this task the next shall be posted.))
Triwizard Champ - May 11, 2006 12:43 AM (GMT)
The moment had come and Blaze was suddenly feeling nervous...It was his big moment, but what if he chocked in the beginning...Trying to clear his mind he headed through the gate into the Forbidden Forest...He had nearly had died when he found out that this was the location for the first task...He had never dared set foot in these woods, he had heard to many stories...But he had no choice now...He wasn't about to give up...The words 'give up' rang in his head...He couldn't he was Hufflepuffs Champion!
Stumbling down the narrow trail the trees began to swollow him up...Everything was so dim for daytime...Vampires...Werewolfs...Dragons...What really lurked in the forest...Blaze pulled out his wand
"Lumos..."
A beam of light came from his wand...It was the first time he had ever had to use the spell during the day...Slowly he followed the quivering light scanning the thick shrubbery for any sign of movement...That's when he heard it...Something was following him...Quickly he turned around and raised his wand
Nothing was there...Blaze's heart began to pound...He heard a cracking twig...Something was there...He knew it
"Come out and face me like man!"
Blaze's voice seemed to echo in the errie silence...Turning back around he began to hurry down the pathway...when suddenly something with hooves leaped out and tackled him to the ground
Screaming and scrambling to get up he noticed the creature's lion-like head just as its teeth chomped down on his leg...Blaze kicked, but the pain was too much to handle...His wand was his only chance
"Avis!"
This was a spell that Blaze had found a few years back, he had no idea he ever use it against such a creature...But it was the only thing that came to mind...A flock of birds was conjured in front of the Chimera, swarming the beast...The Chimera released Blaze's leg and shot fire at the birds...Blaze quickly moved out of the way on his injured leg...He was in a state of panic now...all spells had left him...
The Chimera returned its attention to Blaze...Opening its mouth it started to shot another blast of flames...But Blaze had already seen the attack coming
"INCENDIO!!!"
Blaze's own flame shot from his wand and pushed back the flames of the beast...It was his strongest spell and it had just saved his life...The weakened creature began to back away...But Blaze knew he needed to stop it from coming back for another attack
"Incarcerous!"
Binding robes appeared and wrapped themselves around the Chimera...It would hold the creature for a while...Blaze looked down at his bleeding leg...He'd need to finish all the parts of the tasks quickly...Stumbling along he headed deeper into the forest, wondering what he had gotten himself into
Professor Ravenclaw - May 11, 2006 03:24 PM (GMT)
Task 2
((After completing the task you come across a large pure blue lake. Your second task is to get across this lake, for there is no way round (of course if you say skip a passage appears in the thick walls of the clifes that surround the lake.) You must cross the lake with again only your wand as a tool. Only there is a hitch, for inside the lake you will find the Loch ness monster, otherwise called nessy))
Triwizard Champ - May 11, 2006 11:43 PM (GMT)
Blaze hurried through the forest on his injured leg hoping the ropes would hold the Chimera down, when he found himself at the edge of a large blue lake...It looked so peaceful...Bending down Blaze rolled up the leg of his pants and looked at his bloody leg...Then he plunged his limb into the water and began to wash the wound...The thought that this was part of the task hadn't even crossed his mind...Neither did the winding sea serpent lurking a few yards away
Pulling his leg out of the water and feeling slightly refreshed he looked around at the cliffs trying to figure a way around the lake...Yet it looked like that was the task...Peering over the water he tried to see the other side...It looked fairly long, but didn't appear to be very deep, perhaps he could swim it...That would be too easy...there had to be a trick...
Slowly he waded into the water with his wand in hand...After a few minutes his feet left the bottom and he began to float on the still water...Maybe he could make it all the way across without using a spell...After a few more strokes through the water he found himself nearly in the middle of the lake...He laughed and looked around...How simple was this...That's when he saw it...The sea serpent was darting straight for him....Ducking under the water he began to panic...How stupid could he have been...He hadn't even figured he'd be up against something worse then the Chimera
As the scaly green tail flipped past his face, he swam back up to the suface taking a large breath...But now the sea serpent had disappeared...Blaze's head circled back and forth across the rippling water for any sign of the creature...It was no where to be found...Spotting the other shore a few yards away Blaze began to make a mad splash towards it...Then the creatures giant tail submerged knocking him backwards into a spinning turbulent of water and bubbles...
Gasping for breath Blaze raised his wand hand...But his hand was empty...His wand had been knocked out of his hand and was sloshing away towards the sea serpents rising head...Blaze lunged forward to grab his wand, but the creatures giant mouth was opening and the wand rushed inside with the water's surface....Blaze knew he'd lose for sure without his wand...Closing his eyes he reached forward and grabed hold of the largest fang...
The serpent rose its head into the air, with Blaze hanging on for his life and his wand rolling down the serpent's tongue...Luckily the wand caught just before entering the throat, at a direct angle that pointed the tip of the wand up into the soft roof of the surpents mouth...Gagging the lake monster swung backwards...Blaze felt his hands slipping on the sharp, slippery fang...He couldn't hold on much longer...The next thing he knew he was falling through the air listening to the screaching yell of the creature...
With a large splash Blaze landed in the briney shallows of the farside of the lake...Standing up rubbing his aching body he stared at the coughing monster with a horrified look on his face...His wand was still in the thing's mouth....He couldn't continue with our magic!...With one last agonizing screech the creature spit forth a large spray of bile and water....which crashed down inches from Blaze's feet...Then the creature slowly sank back down into the stirring waters....Glancing down, Blaze smiled and picked up a thin peice of wood, his wand
"Luck of the Irish..." B)
Professor Ravenclaw - May 12, 2006 03:28 PM (GMT)
task 3
((Your next task is to catch a Unicorn. these creatures are mighty fast, and almost immpossible to catch, you will have to be cunning to ctach one, as you only have a certain fenced off area in which to do so. If you wish to skip this task, just say skip, and the gate will open. Bu to complet this task you will have to catch the unicorn and make it come with you to the gate, and only then will the gate open))
Triwizard Champ - May 13, 2006 09:55 PM (GMT)
Blaze found himself standing a large gated area facing a stamping mad unicorn...What rotten luck, the task was rigged! Everyone knew that Unicorn hated males...He was at a disadvantage to Lilia and Jessica...Even Evan when he thought about it...
The unicorn charged and Blaze lept back towards the fence...Raising his wand he shot a stunning spell which merely reflected of the unicorns hoof...If he could only find a way out of the fence...
"INCENDIO!"
the fence seemed to be made of something strong, it wouldn't even burn...Perhaps a lassoe....Suddenly the unicron charged at Blaze again, this time knocking him to his feet...Crawling out of the dust Blaze raised his wand once more
"Reducto"
The temporary shield held the unicorn back...Blaze was out of breath...He was wet and his leg was killing him...He wanted the task to end...
"I give up! Just get me out of this sticking pen!"
Professor Ravenclaw - May 14, 2006 07:24 AM (GMT)
Task 4
((Your next task is to capture a very exotic animal, only found inafrica, but especially bought over for this. Your task is to capture the
erumpent, but beware of its explosive fluids. Once you have caught it, the gates at the end of the paddock will open. If you do not wish to do this task, then just say skip, and the gate will open))
Triwizard Champ - May 16, 2006 12:29 AM (GMT)
Once again Blaze found himself in another paddock running from another magical creature...Though this time it was an Erumpent, which he had mistakenly sat dwon upon earlier thinking that it was a large boulder....Now the magical rhino was decreasing the distance between them, as Blaze tried desperately to think of another spell that would possible affect the monsterous thing...Pointing his wand at a nearby tree he shouted
"Mobiliarbus!"
His pace slowed as he exorted his strength into levitating the tree from outside the paddock to inside...He had practiced the spell, secretly on the hogwart's grounds prior to the task, but had no luck up until this time...But he had no time to rejoice as he set the tree directly in the path of the Erumpent
There was a harsh cracking and splintering of wood as the beast's horn sunk deep into the pliable wood...Yanking backwards and forward, the Erumpent managed to free itself and look for Blaze...But Blaze was already running to the other side of the area thinking of his next plan of action
Suddenly there was a rumbling sound heard within the recently moved tree...The creatures explosive properties were finally taking its toil on the tree, With a loud bang, the half top of the tree flew into the air as the bottom half burst into flaming shards of wood...The whole paddock became a bombing area and with no where to hide Blaze fell to the ground covering his face with his hands
A loud groan was heard from the erumpent, as it was pushed over by the force of the combustion...Blaze was slammed against the fence and his robes became singed with ashes...Crackling flames crept through the grass...Blaze kept his face to the ground as he lifted his wand in the direction of the creatures groans
"Incarcerous..."
Blaze replaced his wand in his pocket and stood up...Staring through the blackened area he spotted the Erumpent tied down to the ground by the magical ropes...He dusted himself off and then headed towards the unlocked gate...coughing from the smog and smoke, but thankful to still be alive
Professor Ravenclaw - May 16, 2006 03:56 PM (GMT)
Task 5
((The next thing you come across is a paddock ful of dung and dirt, more than you have ever seen in your life, and the normal cleaning spells dont seem to work. that is because it id the dung of the Winged horses, who are also clomping around the paddock. Your task is to clean this paddock, so that you can see the grass again. If you wish to skip say so and the gate will open))
Triwizard Champ - May 22, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
Blaze nearly gagged at the sight of dung...More then he had ever seen in his life...There was no way to climb it...If he even tried he'd sink to his death...It would take years with a simple cleaing spell like scourgify...He'd need something much more powerful
"If only I had a couple hundred crates of Mrs. Skower's All-Purpose Magical Mess-Remover..."
Perhaps the poo was flammable...There was only one way to find out
"INCENDIO!"
Blaze watched happily as the flames spread, shriveling up the muck and waste...Maybe this would be easier then he thought...All he had to do was sit back and wait...with the nice breeze blowing towards him...blowing the smoke...the smell of burning poop...and the intolerable smog, straight towards him
"Oh junk..."
Blaze ducked down to the ground coughing...The fire was spreading faster and soon he was lost in the smoke and horrible the horrible stench...Unable to take it much longer he raised his wand
"Aquamenti!"
A sizzling steam rose from the burning hills of dung, muck, waste, and poop...As soon as the fire died completely and the wind cleared the steam, Blaze saw just how much of a mess was left to clean up...Ashes...mud...mucky poop...and some wierd oozing stuff that Blaze couldn't look at without gagging
"Congelamento..."
Slowly but surely, the entire area was covered in a sheet of ice...At this point Blaze had no idea what he was doing, only that he wanted a clean path across....But as he tried to walk on the newly created ice skating rink he slipped and fell...Trying to stand up again he grew frustrated and pointed his wand at the ice
"DIFFINDO!"
A loud cracking sound rushed across the ice as it shattered into shards...Blaze stood amound the shattered ice and frozen muck...things were pointless...If only something else covered the ground...He'd be able to walk over and it would all seem rather clean....Then it hit him...a pointless spell that he had used in Herbology and Charms Class...
"Orchideos!"
Flowers began to sprout from the levels dung...As Blaze moved his wand from oneside of the field to the next he began to fill the whole area with freshly grown flowers in the newly tilled mulch with the ice acting as a catylzt to the quick growth...as soon as the flowers covered every bare inch of turf, Blaze walked across to the gate
"Mother nature...ha...how over-rated..."
Professor Ravenclaw - May 24, 2006 07:49 AM (GMT)
Task 6
((Your next task takes place in another paddock, where you will find a group of
occamy feeding on the ground. They have been taught to stay on the ground, so your task is to make them all take to the sky and fly away. If you want to skip, just call out skip and the gate wil open))
Triwizard Champ - May 27, 2006 06:17 PM (GMT)
Blaze headed into the next task feeling overly confident...He had made it quite far and had only had to skip one task...But then he spotted the creatures...Tall Snake-like birds...They were disturbing and looked kind of dangerous...They were Occamy and all Blaze had to do was make them fly away so that he could cross onward
"Get lost...shoo!"
The Occamy stayed where they were glaring at Blaze....That's when he spotted them...The Occamy eggs were on the ground...Maybe if he could get rid of the eggs, the creatures would go off to retreive them...Pulling out his wand he pointed it carefully at one of the eggs
"Wingardium Leviosa!"
The egg began to float upwards...followed closely by the sqwauking Occamy
"Haha...Piece of cake..."
But as Blaze moved his wand to another egg, the first egg began to fall back towards the ground
"Oh junk..."
The Occamy came swooping past Blaze's head to grab the egg in his beak and then settle back down on the ground...Blaze grew frustrated, trying to think of how he could get all the eggs into the air at once...and then it hit him...He knew in order for his plan to work, he'd have to work quickly...If the Occamy figured out what he was up too, they might attack. Pulling out his wand, Blaze pointed it at the eggs
"Accio, eggs!"
One after another the eggs flew towards Blaze and landed near his feet, unfortunetly the Occamy had spotted the spell right away and had begun to leap about and squawk loudly...Blaze began to panic as the snapping beaks drew closer to him...Pulling out his wand he pointed it at the Occamy
"Aquamenti!!!"
A jet of water shot at the birds to try and hold them back...Luckily the Occamy appeared to hate the water and began to back up slowly...though they continued to shriek and and try to get to Blaze...Wasting no time, Blaze pointed his wand at the group of eggs at his feet
"Incarcerous..."
The magical rope appeared from the tip of his wand and wrapped itself around the bundle of silver eggs...But know the Occamy had seen their chance to attack and were running towards Blaze again...
"Wingardium Leviosa!!!!"
This time all the eggs began to float into the air...as all the Occamy began to notice and take flight after them...As soon as the eggs had reached a good height and the ground was clear, Blaze raced to the gate...Feeling slightly suprised at his own genius
Professor Leigh - May 27, 2006 06:24 PM (GMT)
Task 7
((The next task again tasks place in the forest, in a large inclosed area, much like the first. Only this time your task is to capture a
graphorn and tie it to a pole set in the middle of the forest, but be warned its skin is thougher than a dragons. If you want to skip, just call out skip and the gate wil open ))
Triwizard Champ - May 27, 2006 10:39 PM (GMT)
Now extremly pompious and big headed...Blaze walked through the forest imagining the faces of his fellow students as he finished the tasks...He was so involved in his day dreams that he hadn't even realized that he had reached the the seventh task of the first task...Yet the Graphorn had spotted Blaze first and was already running towards the clueless Hufflepuff
Hearing the snapping of twigs, Blaze turned just in time to see in Graphorn before he was knocked the the forets floor with a pounding pain in his side...The air had nearly been knocked out of him...Stumbling to stand up, Blaze held his wand at the creature
"Flipendo!"
The spell shot off the Graphorn's skin and shot back at Blaze...After flipping backwards into the air and landing uncomfortable against the fence of the paddock, Blaze grew irritated
"You are going down...freakish creature!"
Standing up, pain shot through his entire body...But Blaze couldn't give up here...Raising his wand he pointed it once more at the Graphorn
"Incarcerous!"
The spell looked as if it were going to capture the creature, but at the last second the spell repealled shooting back at Blaze...Trying to dodge the spell, Blaze fell to the ground his feet tangled in the magical rope backfire...The Graphorn snorted and began running towards Blaze
"Alright! Alright! I give up! I give up! Just don't hurt me! Ahhh!"
Professor Leigh - May 28, 2006 07:10 AM (GMT)
Task 8
((In your next task you will encounter two magical creatures. Your task is to capture the four mares being held by a troll, but beward the mares are not normally horses, they are
thestrals, all you have to do is bring them to the center of the forest, where there is a feeding tray. If you want to skip, just call out skip and the gate wil open))
Triwizard Champ - May 28, 2006 07:03 PM (GMT)
Blaze stumbled along to the next task wishing that he could just take a break....But he knew that if he wanted to win the contest, it wouldn't be an option...The last task had left him in ropes which had taken quite a while to get off...He only hoped the next task wouldn't be so brutal....Now he found a troll in his path. Normally this would have scared Blaze into a stupor, but after some of the other creatures he had handled, the troll didn't seem half as bad
"Let me guess, I have to knock you out as well? Alright then..."
Raising his wand he pointed at the troll
"Stupify!"
The troll stumbled backwards, letting out a loud groan...However it was anything but unconsious...Blaze really needed to work on his stunning spells, they weren't very powerful...Trying to think of another spell, he thought he heard a startled horse....Glancing around he saw nothing...Turning his attention back on the troll he raised his wand again and shot a trip jinx straight at its feet. The large beast tumbled to the ground dropping its club with a loud bang...Now Blaze was sure he was hearing horses...But where was it coming from? Staring at the troll he decided to finish it off with one more spell
"Incarcerous..."
Walking away from the tied down troll and heading towards the next gate a few yards away he passed a feeding trough, which was kind of strange since there wasn't troll food inside, but some kind of hay with some reddish meat...Feeling slightly creepied out, Blaze hurried towards the gate...However when he reached it, he discovered that it was still locked
"What the freaking junk is up with that?!?!"
Kicking the gate a few times, he turned back to make sure that the troll hadn't escaped...It appeared to still be tied down...So Blaze began ramming the gate with all his might
"Rigged! That's what it is! I bet it was Evan! He probably locked it, knowing that I wouldn't be able to get through and finish my tasks! Or maybe he was too lazy and got Jessica to do the dirty work for him! Or perhaps they paid Lilia to do it! To through off the suspison! Ohh she probably loved it as much as ether of the other lame-Os would have...But i've figured them out! I'm not as stupid as they think I am! I can still beat them...All of them! Oh this is rigged! Rigged, I tell you!!! GAHHH!"
This time as Blaze rammed the gate he bounced off backwards and landed hard on a sharp rock...Looking down at his knee he saw that a trickle of blood was flowing down his leg
"What rotten luck...Oh man...The pain...Ahh!"
Trying to stop the bleeding he held his leg...that was until he felt something brush fast him...Yet when he turned around, he saw nothing
"Who's there! Evan...I know you did this...Unless it was Jessica...Or is it you Lilia...Come out and face me cowards!"
But there was no response...An errie feeling came over Blaze...Quickly he stood up again and limped over to the gate...Something was licking his wound...Something cold and large...But nothing that Blaze could see...Though the breathing was still audible over Blaze's own paniced breaths...
"Go away...Go away..." :ph43r:
Now it was nibbling...Blaze yelped and took of running back to the other side of the gate, back to where the troll was tied down...Then he heard more noises...Fist hooves...then large flapping wings...Blaze should have known better then to enter the Forest...He must be near the middle, by now...and he was sure it was haunted...Something nuddged into him from behind and he took of running again...This time towards the only thing he could hide behind...The feeding trough
As soon as he reached the feeding area he heard the noises coming closer...This was it for him...Nothing could save him now...Now they had found the trough and they seemed to be feeding...But how long would that keep the spirits occupied...Blaze tried to think of a spell for ghosts, but nothing came to mind...Then he heard it...The clink of the gate...It had unlocked...Stunned he stared open mouthed at the gate, before leaping from his hiding place and running at top speed...He was free from the ghosties at last!
Professor Ravenclaw - May 28, 2006 08:09 PM (GMT)
Task 9
((The next task is simple, but difficult, it again is in the forest, your task is to take a girdle off a
diriclaw, and bring the gridle to the gate to open the gate. If you want to skip, just call out skip and the gate wil open))
Triwizard Champ - June 12, 2006 04:22 PM (GMT)
"A diricawl? Ha...That's the next part of this insane little game?"
Blaze walked towards the bird and was about to grab it...When pop...It burst into feathers and disappeared
"Ah...junk..."
Looking around the empty lot, Blaze began to worry about the amount of time he was spending trying to find the invisible bird
"Come out now...Please just come out!!!"
Still nothing...Blaze grew frustrated and walked to the locked gate
"It's not coming back...I give up..."
There was a click and the gate opened
"Stink'N bird..."
Professor Ravenclaw - June 18, 2006 07:13 AM (GMT)
Task 10
((Your next task is to tie up the Hippogriff that are in the paddock. You have to harness them all and tie them to the poles at the center of the paddock. Only they are not alone. They are guarded by 3
crups and a Troll. If you want to skip, just call out skip and the gate wil open))
Triwizard Champ - July 7, 2006 11:05 PM (GMT)
Blaze hated that he had once again failed at another task...But he only had to hope that the others were doing worse then he was....That's when he reached the paddock with the Hippogriff...which might have been easy to tie down...Had it not been for the Crups guarding them...Blaze had always wanted a Crup, but his sister had been allergic...And after she had moved out, his parents had told him he didn't need one since he'd be to busy studying at Hogwarts...Still Blaze had always wished they had let him get one...
"Hey there boy...Hey there..."
Blaze bent down to try and let the Crups get used to him...But they had already taken guard and were snarling at him
"Fine...I tried to be nice! Flipendo!"
The Crups did a flip in the air and landed a few feet behind the Hippogriffs, but they weren't giving up that easily...Jumping up they ran at Blaze again....Only to find themselves trapped in the temporary shield charm barrier, Blaze had used....Knowing that the barrier wouldn't hold much longer, Blaze hurried over to the Hippogriff, only to nearly be clubed to death by a troll that had appeared behind him
"Junk!"
Blaze dodged the club and held the wand in front of him
"Incendio!"
Flames shot out of his wand and began to consume the troll's club...The troll being as brilliant as a first year, began to panic and stumble backwards...Until he tripped over his own feet...hitting it's skull with a thud on the gate and blacking out...As soon as Blaze was sure the troll was out cold, he approached the Hippogriffs
"You saw how hard I can make things...So I suggest you stay still and let me harness you..."
Pocketing his wand, Blaze walked up to the first Hippogriff and was quickly slammed to the ground by a large pair of talons
"Ahhh!"
Scrambling off the ground and pulling his wand out, Blaze tried yet again to approach the angry creature...When he remember the lesson he had in Care of Magical Creatures...When they were told to bow to the bird to gain respect....It was one of the lessons that had seen so pointless at the time...And even though it wasn't something Blaze wanted to do, he was glad that he had been paying a little bit of attention that day.
"Alright bird brains...I'll bow..."
Bowing slowly...Blaze waited....But nothing happened
"Come on..."
The Hippogriff turned away, kicking dirt in Blaze's face...Just as the barrier broke and the Crups came jumping over the fallen troll and began to attack Blaze's ankles
"WHY ME!!!!!!!"
Blaze jumped out of the way from the Crups and knocked into the back of the Hippogriff...Which turned around and kicked....missing Blaze and hitting two of the crups into the third...The crups ran away to the other end of the paddock and Blaze was left face to face with the ticked off Hippogriff
"This is probably a bad time to say opps?"
The Hippogriff snapped, but Blaze was quick enough to slip the harness over it's head...yet the Hippogriff wing slammed him in the stomach and he stumbled into the troll, which groaned loudly...upseting the other Hippogriffs and causing a stir that took Blaze nearly an hour to calm down...In which he patiently, yet painfully, bowed to the remaining Hippogriffs, gaining somewhat respect and then after another agonizing half and hour he tied the Hippogriffs to the poles in the Paddock...The gate opened, much to Blaze's praises, just as the Crups were about to return to their gaurd.
"This better end soon..." <_<
Professor Ravenclaw - July 8, 2006 06:44 AM (GMT)
Task 11
((This task is again simple. You have to obtain some wand wood from one of the trees in the forest, only only certain trees are sutable for wand wood, and they are all guarded by bowtruckes, and on the ground there is also Doxies and
pogrebin. If you want to skip, just call out skip and the gate wil open))
Triwizard Champ - July 10, 2006 01:44 AM (GMT)
A seemingly easy task had found the Hufflepuff hero surrounded with crawling sticks...He had absent mindly fallen into the Bowtrukles trap and was now to busy worrying about them scrapping out his eyes, to concern himself with collect wand wood
"AHHHH...AGGG...Yahh....OH...NOO! Ouch!"
Pulling at the wood-like creatures, Blaze made a break for his wand...only to grab another Bowtrukle...After another dozen attempts, Blaze managed to find his real wand and shout the fire spell...
"Incendio!!!"
Immediately the Bowtrukle jumped off of Blaze and scurred into the under brush to avoid being devoured by flames...Feeling rather realived to have saved himself with the fire spell, yet again...Blaze reached for the wand wood...Only to have a swarm of Doxies surround him...Swatting at them, he tried to think of a spell to get rid of them...But when nothing came to mind, Blaze began to feel hopeless...It wasn't worth it...He'd come this far to fail to a simple litte faerie...Blaze dropped to the ground on his knees and began to cry...It was suddenly clear, he was the biggest loser at the school....everyone hated him and he was worth then dirt...He didn't deserve to be the Hufflepuff Champion...He didn't deserve to be bitten by the rocks which were crawling up onto him...It was as if he was going to shrivel up right there and...
"WAIT!"
Blaze jumped up off the ground, knocking the rocks to the ground...But they weren't rocks at all! They were pogrebin...They were the things making him feel so miserable and emotional! Wiping the tears from his face, like and emo boy, Blaze shot a jet of flames at the nearest pogrebin
"How you feel now! Die!!!"
But the pogrebin, remained unburnt by the heat of the spell...Meanwhile the Doxies had flown away from the flames to a further area...Blaze started to feel empty inside again, but tried to reasure himself that it was just the pogrebin...So he gave one a big kick and watched it roll away...Feeling better and more confident, he began to kick the remaining pogrebin, until the tree with the wand wood was free of infestations
"And they call that a task..."
Blaze laughed to himself as he headed through the gate to what he hoped was the last of task one.
Triwizard Champ - August 3, 2006 12:34 AM (GMT)
When will you post the next part of the task? Are we waiting for the others to catch up? 'Cause at this rate Blaze really might win.
Professor Ravenclaw - August 6, 2006 04:37 PM (GMT)
no. Katie hasn't sent me the next part. blame her.
Triwizard Champ - August 19, 2006 09:31 PM (GMT)
I'm sure she just can't wait for Blaze to finish first...
Professor Ravenclaw - August 27, 2006 01:17 PM (GMT)
21th task
(( After existing the last paddock, you enter another vally with only one exit. Which is past a three headed dog. The dog is tied by chains so it cant chase you, but you will have to get past it to exit the forest and finish the task. You may call to skip(if you have any left) and an entrance will appear in the side of the walls which leads you out of the forest.))
Triwizard Champ - September 2, 2006 05:48 PM (GMT)
"What spell? What spell? Come on!"
Blaze hurried through the list of spells he had already used against the three-headed beast of a dog...Stuning spell had been too weak...Incendio had only angered it...The magical rope spell wasn't manging to capture all three of the heads...and all the other spells that came to mind seemed to worsen the situation....
"If I could just knock it out..."
Blaze sent yet another stupify...But it bounced off the beast's middle head....The beast was yanking on the chain...Barking furiously at Blaze...He had to think of something fast, before the chain broke...
"Man...if I could just skip this infernal task I would..."
But before he could finish his sentance, the ground seemed to sink away, taking the chained three-headed dog into a giant pit...Blaze grinned and headed out of the forest...
