Justin picked the letter form the owls leg. He opened in and threw the ribbon on the ground. He read it outloud.

Dear Justin,

Hope you have a good time ar hogwarts and me and James are fine, sao you don't need to worry about us. Sorry we haven't sent letters for a while but we've been busy.

"A letter from the family?" Alex asked as he walked into the owlery. He was going to "try" and be nice today. If justin was then he would too. Besides he was still waiting for that letter to be recieved and the bloody owl to come back. He walked to the window and looked down.

(I wanted to win that surprise)

"What do you want?" he said folding it up in his pocket and turning around. He looked at Alex with his red eyes as if he was trying to give him a signal to get lost.

((Oh, lol....i think itstill counts if you respond to someone elses, too...Oh well ...))

He was still looking out the window whenever the owl cam into view. it took him a second to notice it, but there it was. The same owl that he had sent the day before. He almost jumped with glee as he quickly untied the new letter from the owl's leg. He read it and squeled in his mind. He wqas so happy now that nothing could bring him down. He then turned and noticed that justin was staring at him and he smiled softly and turned back to the window while writing another letter back...

Justin looke at him and said as he walked over to him. "And who are you writing to, may I ask?" he said looking over his shoulder at what he wrote.

"Thats a rather nasty attitude you have" lilia butted in from the doorway, she had been standing there for a few momets watching the two boys. She was guessing that the slytherin was the one who was currently causing a lot of trouble, she had heard reports from younger gryffindors about what he was doing, and she didnt like the sound of it at all.

(How will you know who's done the most posts?)

Justin turned and smirked. "Well who have we got here?" he said looking at Lilia. "Alex's girlfriend maybe?" he said trying to wind Alex up.

ilia chuckled "well certainly not ours "she replied a small grin on her face. Glancing towards the other boy she nodded in greeting "though i wouldnt say no if he asked me out" she continued, guessing it would annoy the slytherin the most if she played along.

(Dont worry we will know ^^)

Alex turned from what he was writing and laughed. Finnaly someone with a sense of humor and not an A$$ was around.

"Hi," he said as he walked up to her," My name's Alex, and buzz off Justin," although he said this with a smile, nothing could make him mad today......

Justin laughed and turned to face Alex. "That's not that nice!" he said wagging his finger at Alex. He was getting bored, so he sent his owl away.

Lilia chuckled and flicked her hair out of her face " im lilia" she replied glancing briefly at the slytherin boy.

"So are you going to ask me out?" she continued giving him a wink, the slytherin meanwhile it seemed had lost intrest, which had been her aim all along.

Justin looked an sniggered. "Who'd want to go out with Alex?" he asked her. He would make Alex's short time in here hell. He threw a owl treat up and some owls fought over them in the air.
"Stupid birds!" he said as one of them knocked into the other. Hre walked down to the windows and crushed a few mouse and frig skulls along the way.
"This place is filthy" he said dodging owl droppings that were falling. "apsoultey disgusting"

Justin then walked out glancing at Lilia and Alex before closing the door behind him.
