Title: Live Streams
Description: can this be pinned please?
Arsenal Royal - August 8, 2006 09:48 AM (GMT)
As we have many foreigners in here that cannot watch the game live in the stadium or that don't have access to skysports or itv I have decided to start a thread about live streams where you can watch Arsenal games.
One I know about is asiaplate:
http://www.asiaplate.com/live.today.htmhttp://liveonsat.com/feel free to add some more
thanks for your help, AR B)

Thanks so much for looking out for the people that can watch the game!...The only problem is that asiaplate.com use to have the games on there website but had to take it down for some wierd and strange reason!....I use to love watching the CL games on tuesday cause we are only allowed one CL to be show on TV...What a great contract they signed over here!......But thanks again for looking out for us!

Arsenal Royal,
Thank you for bringing this up.
One my main reasons for checking 606 previously was to find streams. I live in Toronto, Canada and don't have cable nevermind speciality football channels. I
watch all of my tv through my computer so it gets hard to navigate.
Does anyone know if PPlive has died?
CND_Jack - August 8, 2006 04:32 PM (GMT)

GaGaGooner - August 8, 2006 05:53 PM (GMT)
A little added information
http://www.myp2p.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3448 about specific streams for the game, worth a shot.
bkyler - August 8, 2006 05:55 PM (GMT)
The asia plate stream won't work for me since it doesn't have a play button like the other ones
I'm using the RealPlayer one though
CND_Jack - August 8, 2006 06:54 PM (GMT)
Link is down. How convenient.... :banghead:
bkyler - August 8, 2006 06:56 PM (GMT)
blah this sucks so bad. The link was working perfectly like 5 minutes ago
CND_Jack - August 8, 2006 07:03 PM (GMT)
It was working for the past 4 hours!....I left it running to make sure nothing happens!....Someone must have found out and cut it!....Oh well there is commentary text on eurosport!....That is the one chice I guess!
bkyler - August 8, 2006 07:06 PM (GMT)
who is watching the stream on Asiaplate because it doesn't have a PLAY button on the page so I can watch the game :(
gooner_jas - August 10, 2006 10:32 AM (GMT)
hey people, this is a website which I found quite useful, you may have to install a few things before you can fully use it though:
Live footballIt has free football and Basketball matches on it
Where's My Username Gone? - August 10, 2006 11:32 AM (GMT)
Why not just sign up to ATVO?
Jens' Face - August 10, 2006 01:52 PM (GMT)
These are sites I have just found but not used:
http://www.streamingfootball.co.uk/http://www.premiershiplive.net/http://www.freepremiership.com/http://www.freelivefootball.tv/It seems great but also too good to be true -- a season's worth of football for 4 quid. That and the fact that some also promise 700 channels with "adult content" makes it all seem a little shady. Football and porn? Could it be the incisive direction of Lampard, Ferdinand, and Dyer in Ayia Napa? Classy with a capital Chelsea.

Cause it don't deliver the goods, unfortunately
You can follow every kick of every ball with our LIVE match coverage which includes live audio. For Premiership games played at Emirates Stadium, we offer a live still image service. PLEASE NOTE: Due to rights restrictions we can't show live video for FAPL, European or Carling Cup games

Jack,
rtsp isn't a real protocol? Is there a portal url or something that we could check next time Arsenal is playing?
Thanks
CND_Jack - August 14, 2006 05:05 AM (GMT)
pcfootball
Sorry about that!...That site was just a direct link to the game!....Unfortuantly the site went down just before the game!.....Best bet is to go to Sopcast.com and download sopcast. Once you have done that you will get a list of channels.....Usually ESPN is the best channel for that!....I was watching the Chelsea vs Liverpool game yesterday on that!

Hello there,
do you know any homepage that shows our first ('real') match at Emirates against Villa? Many of the links don't work and many aren't free. Do you know any link where I can watch it?

Stay tuned to this space. They should put something up on asiaplate closer to time.

This site is really useful. I lived away from london march-april of last year but managed to watch all of our matches, mostly through this site. Not always the best quality but when you're as desperate as I was you dont really give a shit.

This might be a useful general summary:
If a match is on TV anywhere in the world, you can probably find the link at:
http://www.myp2p.eu/forum/index.php What you do is you download the applications mentioned in the post for a day's game by following instructions at:
http://www.myp2p.eu/index.htm Links normally are only posted the day of the match.
Then you click on the link in the forum, it launches the application, buffers, and starts to play. Unfortunately, it can be unreliable and frustrating to watch.
If there are no links, you can always hope someone uploads a video of the game to:
http://tracker.denness.net:6969/ For that, you just need to download
(1) a bittorrent client. I recommend:
http://www.utorrent.com/ (2) a media player that doesn't need to download special coding to read files (as windows media might). I recommend the VLC media player:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/For info about downloading bittorrents, go to:
http://netforbeginners.about.com/od/peersh...rentclients.htmHope this is helpful.
GaGaGooner - August 18, 2006 11:03 PM (GMT)
Direct links for the game tomorrow:
I will give you the info for two different streaming programs and streaming links for those programs, I recommend PPLive, but feel free to tinker with the other program/stream. The programs are in Chinese (either Mandarin or Cantonese, not sure, as are a lot of the streams themselves, but as it is free we all can make due), but the programs themselves are very simple, by clicking the direct links they will load up, buffer, and play without you having to fiddle with anything.
For both programs you need to have them installed (PPLive or PPStream) before the links will work, once you install the program, close it, then click on the link around kick off tomorrow and it should load up the program.
PPLive Links (download the latest PPLive version
here)...
Edit: The links I put up do not seem to be working, I will try and see what is what tomorrw, so sorry. The PPStream links work, however.
PPStream links, the directions are pretty much the same as the ones I gave previously (download the program
here)...
(For the first two links, give it a bit of time at the site, a good ten or so seconds before the program will launch or a window will launch asking if you want to open the program)
ESPN AsiaGuangdong(Might need to get rid of the http:// for the following two, I cannot manually remove them without having it be a hyperlink.)
QSIVShanghaiI prefer these two programs, there is also SopCast and TvAnts, if anyone needs the links for those, let me know.

michaelthomas89 - August 19, 2006 02:26 PM (GMT)
Fuck this,so far I've had about 10 minutes of Adebayor having a word with the ref in slow motion (even though it's not supposed to be in slow motion)
bucketandthebeast - August 19, 2006 02:56 PM (GMT)
It's worth listening to the chinese commentary than miss the game tho!
Arsenal Royal - August 19, 2006 03:03 PM (GMT)
it's better listening to him than to David Pleat :D
the game is on guangdong sports and espn. here's the link (you have to download sopcast before)
http://www.asiaplate.com/live.today.htmI didn't read all the posts so I don't know if someone already posted it
It works fine for me :scarf:
