Title: Group G Thread
Description: Romania,Holland,Bulgaria,Albania,Belarus

Group G
Holland
Romania
Bulgaria
Slovenia
Albania
Belarus
Luxembourg

Should be a comfortable group for Holland. Lets hope RVP gets some goals.

Romania and Bulgaria are not the teams they were in the mid 90s but one of them should take 2nd.

Anyone know if Zlatko Zahovic still plays for Slovenia?

The Emirates Gallastico - August 12, 2006 02:24 PM (GMT)
:banghead: they haven't added quick reply

Holland followed by Bulgaria, should be easy

Hollands strikeforce (if Robben passes) should score lots,

RvP---Huntelaar--Robben

are the only Arsenal players RVP and Hleb?

Not any more, he was linked to Dinamo Zagreb a while back (maybe 6-9 months ago), but opted to stay in Portugal, because of his kids, as they just started school. I don't think he even plays professional football.

I wouldn't write of Bulgaria and Romania so easily. They progressed quite easily to the latter stages of UEFA cup last season (Levski, Litex-Bul, Steaua,Rapid, National-Rom) and they've got a few decent palyers playing out and about Europe.

Albania B) They've got our Euro 04 manager Baric, that played 7 defenders against England in Lisbon. Bloody bastard.

Funny, this is the third or fourth time in a row that the dutch and romanians play in the same qualifier group.

Cripps - August 12, 2006 02:27 PM (GMT)
I guess so unless we buy some unknown Luxembourg International.

You never know with Wenger.

Cheers for answering the question.

On paper it should be a walk over for Holland but football isnt played on paper.

Away games in Bulgaria and Romania wont be easy at all.
