Title: Classic Thread Nominations...
Description: Post them here...

Letters (TPFKA WWTL@WHL) - March 7, 2007 04:12 PM (GMT)
If you would like to nominate a thread for this section then post the link to it in this thread and tell us why you think it should be moved here. If enough people agree, we'll do so. :tiphat:

The Emirates Gallastico - March 7, 2007 04:15 PM (GMT)
Perhaps you could merge the two Poet threads together?

I preferred the racist linesman one, personally.

PGFC - March 7, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
would it not be an idea to close the classic threads though so they can't be edited or added to?

Well...
Nah. I see what you're saying but I can't really see the point in this section being read only, no-one would ever come i here.
I've disallowed starting threads, for obvious reasons, but I think people should still be able to add to them.

why wouldn't we want to add to them?

this is a messageboard not a museum!

the classic threads are classic precisely because of their dynamic quality that encourages and rewards participation -- and you want to kill that vibrancy and replace it with dust and dry bones! :sulk:

I'm not sure it's classic enough, but it made me laugh a lot re-reading it: ILT is hilarious in it.

I would nominate this one for the same reason but I don;t know if it qualifies -- I think I'm the only one who really appreciates it

http://z13.invisionfree.com/goonersweb/ind...showtopic=14780

but this is one that certainly everyone would agree should go in here
