Description: Ticket prices

"It was important to set ticket prices at a sensible and affordable level," said FA chief executive Brian Barwick.

What is affordable about £95?! I am disgusted by this - it's driving normal football fans away from being able to watch their teams play. The FA are just plain frelling greedy, that or they are trying to finance paying of Sven.

£35 is the lowest priced ticket.

So the FA want a great introduction to the new Wembley by having a load of the prawn sandwich brigade in attendance?

well Manure are playing so it's only fitting!

£35 you can't get a bloody Arsenal ticket at £35 and paid £70 for Spuds matches so £95 for FA cup final is a friggin bargain if you ask me..

pass the tea and prawn sarnie please dear...

The difference is with club money (whilst spiralling rapidly out of control), it's benefiting the club you're supporting. For FA type events though....

My ticket for the final in 2003 cost me £80, and I don't think that was the most expensive.

well all that has to happen is that Wenger can say something about the ref, more fine cheaper tickets :D

Well I've got an e-mail through from a Chelsea forum (yes, I'm a member :1run: ) about them boycotting Wembley's catering facilities in protest against their low ticket allocations.

Dear ArsenalFC

The campaign to boycott Wembley Stadium's catering facilities, in protest to the FA's ticket allocation policy, was given a boost with the announcement of at Alisan Restaurant.

The FA are making only 25,000 tickets available to both Chelsea and Manchester United, whilst retaining over 40,000 for their own purposes.

Corporate hospitality company, Barnstormers, is offering special FA Cup Final lunch and dinner packages at Alisan restaurant in Wembley.

The modern Cantonese flagship restaurant, will be serving a set 4-course gourmet meals. The package includes including three drinks, tea or coffee and service plus celebrity guests for £75 plus VAT. A post match buffet is also offered at £25+VAT.

There will also be a charity auction for rare Chelsea football memorabilia.

Alisan overlooks the north entrance of the stadium.

The newly opened restaurant has already received rave review from leading food critics. Alisan’s Dim Sum Head Chef, CC Wong, was the Dim Sum Head Chef at Yauatcha Michelin-starred Soho.

The split-level establishment seats 180 on the ground floor. The first floor mezzanine features a cocktail lounge, with 30’ ceiling, sofa seating, serving drinks and snacks. For diners not able to secure match tickets, Alisan will be installing large screen TVs for the day. The bar will be open for diners on match day from 11.00am.

Bookings from Barnstormers on 01892 750851 or barnstormers.ltd@googlemail.com Barnstormers’s Cup Final Packages do not include match tickets.

Have to applaud them for the effort, but... :haha:

so they expect 25,000 chav mercenaries to go to a 180 seated restaurant....I think the queue maybe long :dunce: although still shorter than the pie stalls at Emirates at half time <_<

If they are so desperate for tickets, they can get them from the company I run, THEONLINETICKETSHOP.COM :tiphat:
