King-Thierry - April 23, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
Anyone here follow the NBA
I support the Cavs
The playoffs have began
tigerthesmurf85 - April 24, 2007 06:07 AM (GMT)
I'm for the Lakers. But they are a one man team hence they have no chance in the playoffs.
King-Thierry - April 24, 2007 04:26 PM (GMT)
It all gone downhill for them since Shaq left
Kobe is single handedly winning them games.... During March he averaged about 50 points a game
But Basketball teams are like that....all have at least 1 talisman they rely on the most
Phoenix > Nash
Dallas > Nowitski
Cavs > James
LA >Kobe
Miami > Wade
Etc Etc
Coca Kolo - April 24, 2007 04:37 PM (GMT)
i used to be a BasketBall fan earlier in my youth, my favourite player was and still is Tim Duncan.. and consequently i find myself supporting Spurs. :crying:
tigerthesmurf85 - April 24, 2007 04:40 PM (GMT)
I swear Miami have Shaq aswell. My god he was awesome for the Lakers.
Suns have good players like Barbosa and Stoudemire so the don't rely entirely on Whitey.

Yes they do have Shaq
But D Wade is their main player
Shaq is still a great player but is about 35 an will never be as good as in the LA Lakers years..
As for the Suns yes they have a good rooster.. you forgot Raja Bell
And Arsenal fanastic Luol Deng is doing great for the Bulls in the playoffs

I share my loyalty between the San Antonio Spurs as they were my favorite team before Toronto got a franchise and obviously the Toronto Raptors.
Toronto is going crazy for basketball right now, they have a young team full of different nationalities and they are exciting to watch. Not to mention the coach of the year in Sam Mitchell.

yes, it is. the warriors are like middlesborough -- you never expect anything out of them.
but at the same time, it's easy to see in hindsight. ever since Baron Davis came back from injury, they've been playing well. They finished the season 9-1 and went into the playoffs as the hottest team in the league.
(also, at the same time, the Mavs weren't really as good as a 67 win team -- they just had a lot of luck keeping their players healthy and tried hard every night. But they were never a truly great team.)
I'm inclined to think Utah will win the series -- offensive rebounding plus Deron Williams -- but who knows? GS is really tough at home; they have the most raucous arena in the league.
RealGooner^ - May 12, 2007 11:14 AM (GMT)
In the Eastern Conference i support Toronto Raptors (Calderón ) and in the Western Conference i support Mavs (Dirk ) and Suns (Nash ), and i support Gasol, but not Grizzlies, i hate them
King-Thierry - May 12, 2007 01:10 PM (GMT)
I think Dirk is a good player but he choked big time in the playoffs
Kobe and LeBron are faves of mine.....along with T-Mac and Nash
King-Thierry - May 13, 2007 10:53 PM (GMT)
