Title: Whitby Town FC
adamisarsenal - July 15, 2007 04:37 PM (GMT)
Anyone ever been up and seen them play.
They are my home town club and have just got a new stadium.
They won the FA Vase trophy in 97 at Wembely where 9,000 Whitby fans went which is about a third of our population!
If your ever up North you should come see them.

.... and even if not, people should visit Whitby which is a beautiful place.

Yes ma ny times, did you know they have opened a take out now? It was done to battle the threat of closure to to the queues blocking up the pavements.
(I prefer the Quayside personally)

The thing is is that Whitby has been taken over by tourists. They are where!
In the summer it is mental. You can hardly walk!
Wreking the place they are. Still a great place to live though!
Punchinello Beezo - July 25, 2007 07:44 PM (GMT)
But thats what keeps the main income into the town yes? (That and fish)
adamisarsenal - July 28, 2007 08:31 AM (GMT)
Yeah there is quite a lot of fish!
People come from all over to get a trawler built from Whitby boat yard.
They are curently building their biggest one from someone in Scotland.
