One of my favourite ways to pass the time is to get online or go round a mates place and play some poker. I couldnt see any other poker threads here so feel free to post you best results, big money wins and bad beats here.

My biggest win was online, 10$ buy in, 2100 people entered, came 18th place for a cool $340. Had a nice booze session that night where i preceeded to blow most of my winnings.

Worst beat was the way i went out of that same tourney, got dealt AA. I raised and got called by two others. Flop came out Ah 8c Qs, i hit trips. Went all in and got called by one other person with a pair of queens. Turn card was 4c, and river was Kc. The guy that called had both Clubs in his hand an hit his flush. I was pretty pissed bout it but just had to accept it. Got a pretty decent pay off anyway.

Usually just play SNG's although do get involved in the occasional tourney. If anyone else plays online here i'm usually on Pokerstars under the name BoarderDave1

The guy that called you is a freakin cheat if he called you all in with QQ and had pocket clubs.

Ah i got confused there, just the way i explained it. His pocket cards were Q 10 i think so he made a pair of Q's on the flop, and then went on to make the flush after runner runner.

I had pocket AA today, lost 1350 of my 1500 stack, played my way back up to 700 and lost it all with pocket KK.

Seriously. Was my first and last game today.

I finally had a bad beat go in my favour today. Had pocket King's. I reraised this guy who then put me all-in. I called, he shows pocket aces. Meaningless flop, and turn, but a king on the river gave me the set and the win.

Well ok its more of a hobby/job. But it could be classed as a sport for the fact that you can win, lose or draw in it! Just not a very physical one.

I got beat by a Royal Flush a while back. I just didn't believe he had it, I had 2 kings I think it was with a decent kicker, the odds are insane.

That is about my best Holdem story, not impressive but still kinda rankles.

I am a poker addict and play every night, i have won a few tourneys, my best win so far is $1500 in a $50 tourney, i came 2nd.

I also won back to back freerolls of 750 people a time which i am rather proud of.

My worst beat is: i had a pair of kings in my hand and KAK came so i thought with quad kings i had it, all fool me, he had aces in hand and after the pair of us going all in the last ace hits on the river and gave him quad aces, whats the bloody chance lol :yikes:
