The player that made the awful challenge has just been given a 3 month ban and a pretty hefty fine. The ref didnt even book the player that did it.

Still with that 70mil we have to spend maybe wenger could be tempted to save him from future assaults and try him out in this league.

I concur. OK, we all like a trick which beats a player but when people do something like that just to show off they deserve a slap, frankly.

I think he was distracted - when it first happens and the ref is pushing the player away, he has a red card in his hand. I presume with all the hassle he forgot to use it (or bottled it when the players got excited).
