I want the Carling CUp to be purely a showcase for our squad. It should be because we have two imprtant games either side. People want to see if our squad can stand up and be counted, so let's show them. We have nothing to lose so I have every confidence in that team selection and hope it is as i love watching these fringe players play.

I shall be there, back of the lower tier of the Darwen Stand. Not sure what I expect from this game, I hadn't planned on going but they seemed to order themselves on a visit to Arsenal.com.

I expect the normal Carling cup team and much will depend on the team they decide to put out.

I wasnt impressed with senderos at CB during the FA cup with them last season..

I'm starting to slightly regret buying this ticket now, thinking of the prospect of traveling to Blackburn (albeit only from Sheffield) when I could sit in the warm pub and watch it.

I think an attacking formation may well work against blackburn. Any defence which concedes 5 against wigan has to have something wrong.

Blackburn also scored 3. which is a lot, even against Wigan.

And if we play Theo and Eduardo (oh my dear) on the wings, which is where Blackburn more than anyone likes to attack from, we'll be destroyed. Senderos and Song will collapse before halftime, dizzy from all the crosses whizzing in.

I'm relaxed about this match, just looking forward to seeing some of our futures stars get stuck in against a good Premiership side. If we win i'll be pleasantly surprised.

Hope RVP comes through unscathed...which is not a guarantee seeing as we're playing at Blackeye. <_<

I think we've got a good chance of winning, our CC side isnt that weak. I wouldnt be too surprised if we got a result. Midfields not bad at all, and I expect Diaby to do really well tommorow.

i did my college in buffalo, NY and it gets upto -35 C during winters, so freezing is fine!

Don't think we'll win this one but should be good to watch. :)
