Can you get red members tickets, when they are not available to us...? i.e assign a ticket to e.g. my membership no. when they are only available to silver and junior gunners such as yourself?

Is such a thing possible...?

Block 92, for £20 :yikes:

Don't think it is even close so don't actually know why I replied  , i prefer the Orange Quadrant as it is closest to get out from and reach the tube.

I'll be in block 10!

Am looking forward to this game! Will there be a better atmosphere? Also, are the Spurs fans segregated, even when walking to the game? becasue for other games I have been to, the away fans are usually walking around happily with Arsenal fans!

Gunnersclaus - January 1, 2008 12:06 PM (GMT)
i think we'll have to win by at least 2 goals if we are to progress

Most of them walk to the game together with police around them, however there's always a few coming from Arsenal tube station. Not usually a problem.

This game still not sold out!

Same. I don't have the best of feelings about this one. Juande Ramos is a good coach. We'll just have to wait and see ... f*ck I can't wait.

I sympathise with red members because the one time I used it as a red member, when MdR asked me to get tickets for her, it was a bloody nightmare. Sodding thing crashed 3 times when I tried to pay and in the end I had no idea whether she'd got the tickets or who had paid (she did get the tickets, and she'd paid!)

But as you're gold members...how can you get that wrong? I logged in with my details, it came up with my seat. Added dad's membership number and it added his usual seat next to me. Unless you were trying to get tickets other than your usual season ticket seats I'm not quite sure how you managed to mess it up!

All that said, the system could certainly be a lot better.

To the game...
I think it's going to be a great game on Wednesday. Having seen the Blackburn game, our kids look very shaky at the back, and Spurs can't defend for toffees. So I'm hoping for lots of goals and thrills and spills. I think we will win on Wednesday, at worst draw. But just have a feeling they will do us back at the Lane and go through to the final.

Warning__ - January 6, 2008 08:06 PM (GMT)
Same. :( I can see them winning at the Lane very much which is why we need to win by at least 2-3 goals on Thursday. [Well .. Thursday for moi anyway ;)]

I see this as win-win, as it was last year.
Either:

1) We win, and humiliate them by beating them with half a reserve side, as we did last year.

2) They beat us and make themselves look foolish by crowing about beating our kids.

Hoping for '1', obviously :D

I'll be in Block 111 as usual, btw, but if anyone wants to meet before the game then I don't mind where. I need to do something to kill time in between work and the game.

tigerthesmurf85 - January 6, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
How about block 5? I'm gonna be at the stadium pretty early I should imagine.

Warning__ - January 6, 2008 08:12 PM (GMT)
Yeah, they would look a bit silly. Only NLD victory they can get is over our CC team.

They would celebrate and brag like f*ck, no doubt.

Wouldn't mind meeting up, but I'm in 92...so 111 would do fine guys...:good:

It's a season defining game for them tbh, so I don't see what is silly about celebrating a cup final berth! In fairness I think they would be perfectly within reason to have a gloat, 8 years of us ripping them must of driven them nuts.

The chavs would still trash them in the final anyway, think their name is written on the cup once again.

Well sure, I think they should be pleased if they reach the final.
But if they go overboard in gloating....well, says something about them if they have to gloat about beating our kids.
They know damn well they can't beat our first team, bit desperate if they start gloating about being better than our 2nd string.

Warning__ - January 6, 2008 08:31 PM (GMT)
No, stop being sensible and say irrational stuff. :sulk:

Gunnersgod - January 6, 2008 08:35 PM (GMT)
Spurs are fecking shit and our kids will hammer them.

If they beat us who gives a crap, it's only the mickey mouse cup.

:tiphat:

Losing to scum is unthinkable really they could win a trophy!!!

Gunnersgod - January 6, 2008 08:43 PM (GMT)
Any line up predictions?

Fabianski

Hoyte Senderos Djourou (I'd play Gallas personally) Traore

Theo Denilson Diarra Diaby

Eduardo Bendtner

Yep I think Gallas and one of Hleb or Rosicky should play, with the same as before. And a stronger bench too...

I would go for that (agree with Gallas). However, I think it would be like this:

Fabianksi

Justine Hoyte
Djourou
Senderos
Traoré

Denilson
Diarra
Gilberto
Diaby

Bendtner
Eduardo

Adebayor, Rosicky, Lehmann, Fabregas and Clichy on the bench.

pk_gunner - January 6, 2008 09:02 PM (GMT)
Gilberto's going to play surely.

Jens' Face - January 6, 2008 09:47 PM (GMT)
Surely Walcott's got to play on Wed? (Yes, and don't call me Sh...!)

I wouldn't be surprised if we play Gilberto at cb, alongside Senderos. Not saying it would be a good thing, just that I wouldn't be surprised.

And there's got to be at least some question about the strikers and Traore: it's not a long rest for them. Shame that a Theo/Eduardo pairing is so unattractive.
