Title: Arsenal vs Newcastle
Description: 29th Jan , got tickets £45

TNT xmas - December 24, 2007 07:29 PM (GMT)
I can get tickets for £45. Is it worth it, not sure where the seat is.

Only been to one match before, which was the same fixture (Carling Cup however)

Where've my presents gone? - December 24, 2007 09:06 PM (GMT)
For £45, you'd get a good seat.

arsefan - January 22, 2008 05:07 PM (GMT)
Lets hope we beat the scum and toon in the cups then we can worry about this game

What a shame we have to play a Newcastle team with a new management, looking to impress (Twice aswell). Man U took full advantage over Newcastle's recent turmoil :@

tigerthesmurf85 - January 22, 2008 05:09 PM (GMT)
Why was he banned?

Warning__ - January 22, 2008 05:48 PM (GMT)
 Being a WUM. He was always being a twat in match threads. I think Maccy got rid of him in the Birmingham one.

Czech Out Rosicky - January 27, 2008 12:35 PM (GMT)
we now have a big psycholigical advantage going into the game

Almunia
Sagna===Senderos==Gallas===Clichy
Hleb===Flamini===Cesc===Diaby
Adebayor===Eduardo

Gunnersgod - January 27, 2008 01:02 PM (GMT)
Agree with the psychological boost, expecting a good performance.

bergstar - January 27, 2008 01:05 PM (GMT)
Wenger said before we played them up there, that some players were not prepared as they should be, thought it would be straightforward, he said the same after our Draw at home with Birmingham. Complacency has shown itself a few times this season already.

Total Football - January 27, 2008 01:52 PM (GMT)
3-1 to us

TheCrazy58 - January 27, 2008 04:51 PM (GMT)
Anyone know what the situation is with Rosicky? Is he definitely crocked or was it just a precaution?

The Emirates Gallastico - January 27, 2008 04:52 PM (GMT)
Judging by past events...

He's crocked. :good:

Flava Flav - January 28, 2008 01:53 PM (GMT)
Anyone know why this isnt on Telly??

I know we are on on saturday against MAn City but seems strange we would play on a tuesday night and it not be on telly?

Cripps - January 28, 2008 02:03 PM (GMT)
Cos they decided to show a relegation 6 pointer

Cripps - January 28, 2008 02:12 PM (GMT)
Almunia

Sagna Senderos Gallas Clichy

Walcott Cesc Flamini Hleb

Ade Eduardo

Rosicky is confirmed out

Warning__ - January 28, 2008 02:53 PM (GMT)
They're showing it on TV here. 6.55am kick off - Fox Sports 1 Wednesday Morning.

Hopefully not the morning I go back to school. :(

see you at 118 for the meet up?

KaiserKolo - January 28, 2008 08:00 PM (GMT)
Barton back in the Newcastle squad, after his bail conditions were altered. He is such a scummy person...

I assume rotation kicks in, so Sagna will come in, perhaps Traore or Hoyte will switch over to the left. Hleb to start, along with Eduardo, Theo to be benched. i reckon we will play a team similar in strength paperwise but with less balance...

Cripps - January 28, 2008 08:06 PM (GMT)
Rosicky is injured so Theo is certain to play

Total Football - January 28, 2008 08:17 PM (GMT)
Aluminia

Sajma (sic)
Gallas
Senderos
Clichy

Hleb
Cesc
Flamini
Diaby

Adebayor
Eduardo

I know we hate seeing Diaby on the left, but I think Wenger may go for him on the left, as he wasn't that bad on Saturday.

Coca Kolo - January 28, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
Almunia

Sagna
Senderos
Gallas
Clichy

Walcott
Fabregas
Flamini
Hleb

Adebayor
Eduardo

Mr. Miyagis Bonsai Tree - January 29, 2008 05:25 AM (GMT)
I know this has been mentioned already but Barton will be back in the Toon squad for todays game... I'm wondering where he'll feature in the squad, will he be partnered in CM with Butt perhaps???... That would leave Flamini with quite a bit of work to do in order to allow Cesc the freedom to get around the pitch... I think if Diaby is playing he might be able to provide some cover but I doubt it... However, Theo could prove useful against the Toon LB who I assume will be Jose Enrique...

Hleb on the left is always a bonus for us too so he'll link up well with the frontmen... Hopefully Adebayor will give their defenders a torrid time and work his socks off as always to provide Eduardo with some chances...

If we're as clinical against them as we were on Saturday then it should be a good game for us :good:

And with United playing Pompey on Wednesday, well, I'd love for Pompey to hold out at least a draw against United, that'd be perfect as we all know that Spurs will just roll over for them

I expect our line-up will be:

------------------Almunia-----------------

Sagna----Senderos----Gallas----Clichy

Walcott------Cesc------Flamini-----Hleb

-------------Ade---------Eduardo--------

Subs:

Lehmann
Diaby
Hoyte
Bendtner
Gilberto

Their line-up will most likely be:

------------------Given------------------

Carr-----Taylor-----Cacapa----Enrique

Duff-------Butt-------N'Zogbia-------Milner

-------Owen-------------Smith?--------

Subs:

No idea ;)

The SUN have predicted the same line up as you, except for some bizzare reason they've gone and stuck Walcott on the left and Hleb on the right

Typical Sun journalism eh

Still, that is the most obvious line-up... Oh and Viduka will also be involved I've read on BBC sport :good:

Gael Sagna - January 29, 2008 12:54 PM (GMT)
The only decision for Wenger to make is whether to go with Walcott or Diaby. Theyre both as shit as each other on the flanks so it doesnt really matter who he goes with. What matters more is how Fabregas plays!! and how many goals Ade will score.

Stephenfc - January 29, 2008 02:19 PM (GMT)
Not sure either Diaby or Walcott are suited to the wing, however Diaby will need to get used to playing there if he wants a regular starting place as Rosicky is injury prone.

Walcott's future is up front so I would play Diaby. Or go for an experimental Chavski style formation

-------------------------- Almunia--------------------

---Sagna------Gallas---------Senderos-----Clichy

-------------Hleb-----Fabregas-------Flamini--------

--Walcott--------------------------------Eduardo-----

-------------------Adebayor---------------------------

Cripps - January 29, 2008 02:25 PM (GMT)
Eduardo on the left just does not work.

Hes an out and out striker and should be played as such

I know this has been mentioned already but Barton will be back in the Toon squad for todays game... I'm wondering where he'll feature in the squad,

No doubt he'll be left back, rifling through the belongings left in the Arsenal dressing room.

At WeightWatchers Anonymous...

"my name's Mark and I'm a compulsive pie-eater"

could have been a contender Viduka if he had settled on Cups instead of pie-tins.
