Title: Arsenal v West Ham
Cripps - December 29, 2007 07:15 PM (GMT)
No Bendtner
Confidence must be sky high for both teams.
No chance of complacency after last season.
Warning__ - December 29, 2007 07:23 PM (GMT)
OMG Cripps.
Last time you created a match thread didn't we lose? :yikes:
Cripps - December 29, 2007 07:30 PM (GMT)
Yes we did
Im just trying to get my form back after being invincible last season here none of my match threads resulted in a loss

Yeah i think that was Boro away, but he created the Villa away as well which we won and also Sevilla away <_<
We should beat West Ham though, but we have lost 2 seasons in a row at home against them, but i think we'll beat them :)
Warning__ - December 29, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
Hopefully we do the double over them cnuts. ;)
'Tis on Wednesday early morning here except on at the same time as Yoo'nah'ed. <_< Have to stream one half.
St. Nicklas - December 29, 2007 07:42 PM (GMT)
Doesnt Bendtner miss the Burnley game not this one?

He misses 3 games

-------------Almunia-----------------
Sagna----Toure----Gallas----Clichy
Hleb----Cesc----Flamini----Rosicky
-------Adebayor----Eduardo--------
I hope to see that team, if everyone apart from RVP is fit. Flamini picked up his fifth booking of the season against Everton, but I think the suspension will be for the Burnley game away in the FA Cup instead of this one. If I am wrong, then Denilson/Diarra can take his place in the centre.

Doesn't he only miss 1 game as it was 2 yellows rather then 1 red for violent conduct?
pk_gunner - December 30, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
Cripps - December 30, 2007 02:31 AM (GMT)
Wasnt it a straight red?
Awful decision by the ref
Synta Claus - December 30, 2007 03:06 AM (GMT)
The hammers are gonna get f'cking nailed.
Arsenal 2-0 West Ham (Fabregas)

I don't think we'll hammer them. They are giant game raisers.

Thats the team id like to see as well. Cesc really needs to step it up as hes been aweful last few games. Im fairly confident with this one, were due to a big performance. Anyone noticed how our dip in form has coincided with every match being shown live? I think weve been jinxed by sky so hopefully not being on tv will benefit us!
Santa's Sleigh Bells Zim - December 30, 2007 03:22 PM (GMT)
Cripps you're making a plank of yourself
Might be a tough match, they've just beaten Man U and are the only side who've beaten us at the Emirates..........should win but it's certainly not guaranteed.
tigertheelf - December 30, 2007 03:36 PM (GMT)
If Eboue plays we'll lose.

Won't the ACN have started then?
I can see this being like last year. As long as Eduardo starts and we create chances for him we'll win. I hope.

No different from normal...
Thank fook this game is at home - we should win this. Up the arse! :scarf:
pk_gunner - December 30, 2007 05:51 PM (GMT)
They've won their last 2 games at our place.
If we score first, we win.
White Magic - December 30, 2007 06:08 PM (GMT)
Im going to this one, my first game since Sevilla. :scarf:

Coming from Ades biggest hater, its a laughable statement
anfield 1989 - December 31, 2007 02:43 AM (GMT)
This is gonna be tougher than we'd like.
Me thinks 1 nil to the Arsenal.
Mr Whitersled - December 31, 2007 07:26 AM (GMT)
I've been saying it for half of the 12 prem games he's missed but any chance rvp is back for this?
I do hope we go with 442 with eduardo and ade up front
also what's going on with theo?
Mr. Miyagis Christmas Tree - December 31, 2007 08:59 AM (GMT)
RVP, no news as of yet...
Theo must have one of those really strong viruses, you know the kind where you're throwing up constantly, feeling like you're shitting yourself, getting the shakes, not being able to keep anything down... You know, the Spurs as it's more commonly known :coffee:
Powlo - December 31, 2007 11:20 AM (GMT)
ACON players leave the day after the Burnley game so they'll all be available. May as well run them into the ground before they go!
Is Flam in or out? I don't know how/when his ban kicks in...
Should be a win, but they have just beaten Man U so confidence will be high. Too high perhaps?

1 game
Coca Kolo - December 31, 2007 10:05 PM (GMT)
get the first goal - we win.
Gunnersclaus - January 1, 2008 05:17 AM (GMT)
sagna is rested
hoyte will fill in
rvp out for another 10 days
TheCrazy58 - January 1, 2008 11:12 AM (GMT)
We won't go 4-4-2 with Bentdner unavailable and Eduardo providing the only cover for Ade. Assuming Flams is suspended...
Manuel
Sagna-Kolo-Gallas - Clichy
Eboue - Fab - Diaby - Rosicky
Hleb
Ade
Subs; Jens, Song, Gilberto, Eduardo, Hoyte, and, erm...Walcott? Might as well give Mark Randall a slot in the subs.
Alias - January 1, 2008 11:26 AM (GMT)
If Diaby and/or Eboue start ahead of Eduardo then it's a joke.
Gunnersclaus - January 1, 2008 11:37 AM (GMT)
think it will be a close match tbh, if we win it won't be by my than 2 goals. could be a frustrating match.
the players will want revenge though. :spinnana:
Gael Sagna - January 1, 2008 12:03 PM (GMT)
I hope to see this team:
Almunia
Hoyte Toure Gallas Clichy
Eboue Fabregas Flamini (if not suspended) Rosicky
Hleb
Adebayor
We are due a good team perfomance, SURELY it will come now we're back at the Emirates
3-1 Arsenal
Leroy McFadden - January 1, 2008 12:05 PM (GMT)
I would like to see 4-4-2 with Eduardo starting, although I don't have a problem with 4-5-1. I just think Eduardo doesn't deserve to drop out having won us the game against Everton.
Toure de Lapland - January 1, 2008 12:06 PM (GMT)
I thought West Ham had a chance of a result at the Emirates last year, when they were really struggling and they got it :(. But i think this year it's time to get them back for beating us two years in a row in the home games.
I predict 2-0

Come on you Gunners!

I think Eduardo is fantastic at finishing, absolutely clinical, but at the moment i dont think he brings much else with him. Having said that, he should be useful at home assuming we create loads of chances.
Mr Whitersled - January 1, 2008 12:29 PM (GMT)
i think for us to proceed with a 451 we need to know our midfield will score
at present we don't, however eduardo showed promise in the last game so the prudent tactic from the point of view of getting goals is 442
am sure hoyte will play :coffee:
Awol Returns - January 1, 2008 12:40 PM (GMT)
Happy with the squad but I hope Sagna's absence will not be costly. He would have had plenty of time to rest after this. Not happy about that especially when I remember the numerous times that he has made tackles/clearance that saved goals. Hope Hoyte does the business. Gonna be a close one as West Ham are the biggest party spoilers I know in this league when it comes to raising their game against the big clubs.
Da Silva Tinsel - January 1, 2008 12:53 PM (GMT)
For some reason I thought this match was in the evening, appears it's at 3 o'clock, whoops.
Am expecting Wenger to revert back to a 4-5-1 with the likes of Eboue, Adebayor and Rosicky restored to the starting line up.
---------------Almunia------------
Hoyte---Toure--------Gallas---Clichy
Eboue--Fabregas--Flamini (is he suspended? If so Diarra instead) Rosicky
-----Hleb-------------------------
---------------------Adebayor
Subs - Lehmann, Senderos, Diaby, Walcott, Eduardo.
Gunnersclaus - January 1, 2008 12:59 PM (GMT)
be quite annoyed if eduardo doesn't get the start he deserves.
Da Silva Tinsel - January 1, 2008 01:02 PM (GMT)
There's the possibility that Hleb'll get a rest and be replaced by Eboue or Walcott with Eduardo keeping his place of course.
