Title: Pass the parcel

Cripps - January 4, 2008 08:20 PM (GMT)
Saw this on another forum but basically what you do is start with one team and keep an eye on their results until they lose no matter which competition and then start looking out for the results of the team that beat the previous team and so on.

For example start with Arsenal and should they lose to Burnley then we watch burnley and so on.

On the other forum, after a few months they were watching a team in Russia for results.

Its a good way to broaden your horizons on European football as well.

As this is an Arsenal forum, how about we start with Arsenal?

Toure de Emirates - January 4, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
Hopefully we won't have to change teams for a while.

tigerthesmurf85 - January 4, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
Sounds good :good:

So it'll probably be stuck in the Championship till next season.

If we lose that is

Cripps - January 4, 2008 08:25 PM (GMT)
It would have been best to start at the start of the season but start of the new year isnt that bad.

Lets hope we dont lose to Burnley then

Eggnog Flava'd Flavs - January 4, 2008 08:28 PM (GMT)
wel burnley have their 2 starting cenre halfs out so lets hope we can at least score past them eh

Theologooner - January 4, 2008 08:31 PM (GMT)
TBH as this is a bit of fun I think we should start with a completely different team. We'd be following Arsenal anyway. What non-league teams are still in the FA Cup? Pick one of those.

Alias - January 4, 2008 08:33 PM (GMT)
Havent and Waterlooville.

I was thinking that :D

But then we'd be back to Arsenal on Wednesday anyway ;)

I think they will beat the kids this time around.

They seem to be scoring goals for fun and event hough they are conceding them as well i just have a feeling we will lose over the 2 legs :voodoo:

I think we might win Wednesday, certainly don't think we'll lose.
But I agree, over 2 legs I think they might have too much for the kids.
:more voodoo:

tigerthesmurf85 - January 5, 2008 11:41 AM (GMT)
So who are we starting with?

Where's my username gone? - January 5, 2008 01:40 PM (GMT)
Chasetown

Cripps - January 5, 2008 02:49 PM (GMT)
How about Cambridge United?

Cripps - January 5, 2008 03:47 PM (GMT)
I say start with Arsenal cos being in Europe, theres more chance of it going around Europe.

Where's my username gone? - January 5, 2008 07:59 PM (GMT)
Yes, but we'd keep going for all eternity.

Cripps - January 14, 2008 12:23 PM (GMT)
Still on Arsenal

Since we started, we have beaten Burnley and drawn with Spuds and Birmingham.

Fulham are next in line

Cripps - January 23, 2008 08:27 PM (GMT)
Well its now passed on to the Spuds.

We held it for 5 odd games

Fiorentina v Everton today.

If Fior win, the baton is passed in to Italy

Professor Zim - March 6, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
You'll be able to have a nap if that happens ;)

Cripps - March 6, 2008 09:28 PM (GMT)
Looks like its going to Fior

Things might just get more interesting now its in a different country.

Any chance of this being moved to another section by the way?

A football section preferably like the Premiership

Toure de Emirates - March 8, 2008 09:46 AM (GMT)
Forgot about this thread

Who do Fiorentina have next?

Cripps - March 8, 2008 10:39 AM (GMT)
Siena and seeing as they arent in Europe, if they beat Fior i guess it'll stay in Italy for a while

It's Spelt Vassiriki - March 11, 2008 10:45 AM (GMT)
