PASCAL CHIMBONDA has stunned Tottenham by declaring: I’m off to join Kevin Keegan.
The French full-back claims he is ready to accept a lucrative offer to be part of the Keegan revolution at Newcastle.
He will shun a Carling Cup final place to move on.
Chimbonda, though, is adamant his deal has been struck.
Out celebrating Tottenham’s 5-1 demolition of Arsenal on Tuesday night, the 28-year-old bragged to pals: “Kevin Keegan has approached me and they’ve offered me more money.
Offer
“I am definitely leaving Spurs. It’s all about the money. I don’t care about the final, I don’t care about the cup.”
SunSport revealed earlier this month how Chimbonda was one of eight stars that Ramos wanted to axe. |
:haha: :haha:
Now I know this is only the Sun but Chimbonda does have a track record of being agreedy twat.

I'd leave tottenham for newcastle - bigger crowd, money goes a lot further up there, no relegation troubles....
Also don't lots of people move job for money? why is it ok to criticise a footballer for doing something many of us do?

Can't see how that's relevant.
He'll just get a different group of people singing his name.

Football isnt like the normal work place no matter how much people want it to be so.

| Football isnt like the normal work place no matter how much people want it to be so. |
It is and it isn't.
It isn't because of the amounts of money and the nature of support.
But given that
1) You'll get silly money at any top club.
2) You'll be well supported by the fans at most clubs.
In terms of moving clubs it isn't a whole lot different to moving jobs.
It's a reasonable comparison.
