I don't know exactly how it works it out but I do know it's a bit buggy.
I don't think it counts members who are banned or in validating. Maybe it doesn't going people who have signed up but never posted?
Chrissie, who is one of our more recent members, is member no 2,615.
Obviously the number of currently active member is less but the Google Analytics stats show about 900 visitors and about 22,000 hits in a day.
We've had 7,385 unique visitors on the last month.
