Cesc expected to start for Spain.

TheCrazy58 - March 26, 2008 08:19 PM (GMT)

...however Hunterlaar puts one back for Holland.

TheCrazy58 - March 26, 2008 08:35 PM (GMT)

McNamara That Ghost... - March 26, 2008 08:36 PM (GMT)

McNamara That Ghost... - March 26, 2008 08:37 PM (GMT)

McNamara That Ghost... - March 26, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)
Switzerland losing to Germany. Greece beating Portgual 0-2.

Also, if you ever needed an indication of how crap Liechtenstein are then this scoreline does it: FT Malta 7-1 Liechtenstein.

Sack Capello and get an Ingerlish man in charge!

McNamara That Ghost... - March 26, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
Bring back McClaren.

Germany are 0-3 up now, Portugal got a goal back. <_< And it gets worse: my sweepstakers are serving me well, Poland losing 0-3 to USA.

Alias - March 26, 2008 09:20 PM (GMT)
I sropped watching England after 40 minutes. I take it everything is still as boring as ever?

TheCrazy58 - March 26, 2008 09:23 PM (GMT)
Brazil lead Sweden 1 - 0 . Gilberto started.

Nuno Gomes was the scorer for Portugal.

Holland now lead Austria 3 - 4. Vennegoor of Hesselink with a brace.

Germany now 3 - 0 up vs Switzerland. Oh dear.

Synergetic - March 26, 2008 09:24 PM (GMT)
Bentley is on for Beckham.

Doesn't look like Walcott will get a runout now. 6 subs have been used.

TheCrazy58 - March 26, 2008 09:26 PM (GMT)
Trezeguet off for France, Spike Lee on.

McNamara That Ghost... - March 26, 2008 09:30 PM (GMT)

it was huntelarr who got the brace

McNamara That Ghost... - March 26, 2008 09:35 PM (GMT)
No-one got a brace according to the BBC, Vennegoor with the first of the two, Huntelaar with the second.

TheCrazy58 - March 26, 2008 09:38 PM (GMT)
Brace means 2 goals, right?

Germany now 4 - 0 up vs Switzerland.

McNamara That Ghost... - March 26, 2008 09:40 PM (GMT)
Does indeed.

Synergetic - March 26, 2008 09:41 PM (GMT)
Cashley isn't having a good game. :)

TheCrazy58 - March 26, 2008 09:43 PM (GMT)
Anelka off, Cisse on. Presumably the booing was because he's a Marseilles player (PSG's traditional enemy?)

Looks like Flams won't play, good.

TheCrazy58 - March 26, 2008 09:46 PM (GMT)
There must be a whole raft of club managers bursting bloodvessels all over Europe - Thuram, Makelele, Gallas, Ribery...all being made to play full 90 minutes.

McNamara That Ghost... - March 26, 2008 09:47 PM (GMT)
Owen. Lucky France didn't score really.
