Title: Manchester United v Arsenal
tigerthesmurf85 - April 5, 2008 12:53 PM (GMT)
Sunday 13th April
lŽll be in Germany, might not be able to watch it :(
Marc Overmars - April 5, 2008 02:15 PM (GMT)
i fear for us in this game
Total Football - April 5, 2008 02:16 PM (GMT)
Wonder if either of our serial crocks will return for this game. Probably not though.
Johnbo14 - April 5, 2008 02:28 PM (GMT)
Once our season really is ended on Tuesday, after having it all to play for just 5-6 weeks ago, I dont think Ill be able to watch this bunch of bottlers getting thumped by Ronaldo and co without smashing the television in. In short, I think I'll give this one a miss!
Warning__ - April 5, 2008 03:39 PM (GMT)
Won't be watching it. Especially after we're humiliated at Anfield.
Seeing as our defence is a joke right now I'm saying 4 - 0 to Man United.
Professor Zim - April 5, 2008 03:40 PM (GMT)
Will be watching the match with some friends, it's a nothing game for us unfortunately.
Synergetic - April 5, 2008 03:41 PM (GMT)
We'll win and win well. Man Utd 0-3 Arsenal
Total Football - April 5, 2008 03:42 PM (GMT)
I always watch the Arsenal if the opportunity is available. I don't think we'll get a thrashing. They are hot favourites, but we can give them a game.
RVP is the Future - April 5, 2008 04:01 PM (GMT)
We'll definitely be underdogs, although I think we have enough to beat them as we did last year.
gunner49 - April 6, 2008 12:06 AM (GMT)
will loose badly with our talentless bunch of bottlers, but ill check on results
Grimandi's Perm - April 6, 2008 12:08 AM (GMT)
Cripps - April 6, 2008 12:15 AM (GMT)
Not thinking about this game.
Have a small matter of a CL 2nd leg to deal with first

I can see Man utd winning th........
Nah i cant do it.
Its not in me to quit on my team and lose all hope.
Im going for a 1-0 win for us courtesy of a Gallas header in the 74th minute

Mr Brighterside - April 6, 2008 06:53 AM (GMT)
rvp could be back to form by then
wenger might have had a eureka moment and realised eboue is rubbish (or he might have got himself suspended :cloud9: )
ade has done well there in the past too :scarf:

Calling our team bottlers when you can't bring yourself to watch a game we might lose?

I agree, some of the reactions on this board have been a tad OTT haven't they?
McNamara That Ghost... - April 6, 2008 12:26 PM (GMT)
Just a bit.
It'll be fun on here if we go out of the CL on Tueday.
Total Football - April 6, 2008 12:33 PM (GMT)
Anyone reckon Tomas Rosicky will return for this game?
Cripps - April 6, 2008 12:36 PM (GMT)
:haha:
Oh youre serious
Um more chance of Eduardo playing i think

 Yeah probably. What's worrying is that we don't seem to be getting updates on his situation either, meaning he's probably a long way from fitness.
Alias - April 6, 2008 01:01 PM (GMT)
I doubt Rosicky will play again for us this season. He'll no doubt play every minute for Czech Repbulic in the Euros though.
The Merse - April 6, 2008 01:32 PM (GMT)
Manchester United could end up absolutely destroying us on set-pieces. Even if we correctly put Senderos in the CB position.
I think Ferguson knows this and he will go for a typically aerial game (they won almost all these challenges in the FA Cup game).
If we play the slower, football game on the ground and we've got our heads screwed on, we just shade it.
Manchester United 3-1 Arsenal :(

I hope the people who have quit on the team dont celebrate if we wi next week.
They are a disgrace

quit on the team? no... but ground realities r much harder than imagination... i hope im made to eat humble pie or worse any kind of pie or even shit!... i have taken leave from work, left office secretly, woken up at 6 in the morning on new yrs eve etc... which im sure most of us gooners here have done for watching this team... nothing will make me more happier if i were to eat humble shit... but realistically cant see us even coming out with a draw and thats not giving up on the team...

Seriously.
Captain Malcolm Reynolds - April 7, 2008 08:49 AM (GMT)
Imagine that. If someone tries to make an accurate prediction of what will happen instead of some inane heart felt desire for the opposite to happen, they're quitting on their team.
Total Football - April 7, 2008 09:07 AM (GMT)
Some people do appear to have given up a bit though, not those predicting Man Utd to win (that's a reasonable prediction) but those who say they can't be bothered to watch the game and calling the team "talentless" and "bottlers".

anyone think the liverpool game might actually completely drain us off and we cud be in this game like sitting ducks waiting to be shot... man utd play roma at home with a 2 goal lead.. they will be more than up for it against us... got a very bad feeling about this match.. :(

Elchegooner - April 8, 2008 04:35 PM (GMT)
United just announced that Rio Ferdinand will have fitness test for the Roma game.
They think heŽll play.
Therefore heŽll play against us.
Damn and blast.
Cripps - April 8, 2008 04:37 PM (GMT)
Unless he suffers a reaction
Dont really care if he plays or not, we'll still beat them

I actually agree I think Vidic has been their key back line player.
Although it would be nice to play against Neville and Brown, or OŽShea and Pique instead.
McNamara That Ghost... - April 8, 2008 04:44 PM (GMT)
I don't think he'll play against Roma, he hasn't trained. Would seem likely he plays against us however.
RVP is the Future - April 8, 2008 04:45 PM (GMT)
It won't matter if Ferdinand plays since Vidic is their rock at the back, so unless he makes a miraculous recovery we'll unsettle them.

Could you be a little bit less vague with your predictions mate
Warning__ - April 8, 2008 11:10 PM (GMT)
feck it, I'm changing my prediction.
3 - 1 Arsenal's way.
Ade x2, Fabregas and Ronaldo for them.
:scarf: I'm feeling optimistic.
