Watching it at the moment

I saw a bit with AW. It's rather intriguing to speculate how it came about - it's a Nike show and tbh they could have got 'bigger' names like Ronaldo or Rooney among the players they sponsor, but neither are quite as media friendly as Cesc is (Ronaldo is on purely photogenic terms I suppose but I'm not sure he has the personality and his English won't be as good. ). They may also have demanded somewhat more money for doing it too.

I was surprised AW sort of went along with it but I suppose it serves the club to have a new 'face' to replace TH (and also with the passing of other media friendly types like Freddie and Bobby) and by bigging up Cesc it would help satisfy his ego a bit and keep him out of mischief.

Talking of Nike and Arsenal, that new Nikefootball.com ad on tv - the 'hero' is supposed to be an Arsenal player isn't he, and also Dutch (the last part, where he's playing vs Portugal with Sneijder etc). The only Dutch player we have at the mo is Van Persie and he's with Adidas.
